Stupid Final Fantasy weapons

Sticking with the subject of FF3, the primary weapon for the Scholar job class was a book. A book, for chrissakes. And it wasn't even particlularly weak physically, and excluseively magic-augumentative either. A Scholar dual-wielding books could deal a good 600 damage in one turn against a regular enemy.

You actually reminded me of Shadow Hearts again or more specificly of a character who uses a Bible as a weapon. She beats the enemies with her Bible.

In Shadow Hearts 3, there's a cat ( Not some slang, a REAL FELINE)that defeats its enemies by getting drunk and beating the shit out of them. yea, I think they were REALLY high when they made that game.

Okay, I think I'm gonna buy that game afterall.

Sora, Riku, Kairi, King Mickey, Roxas, Xion, plus the three folks from Birth of(from?) Sleep off the top of my head. There might be more I'm forgetting as well. That's nine Keyblade wielders so far.

More to the Point, No Final Fantasy people use them, so they shouldnt be considered FF weapons

And I repeat: Gunblade is awesome.

Lulus moogle is sort of weird... But other than that, I like the creativity put into these weird weapons. And most of them do make sense. FF <3

Can't say I was a fan of Tidus's swords, save for one or two of them

and Cloud with his Buster sword made me raise an eyebrow much too often.

Gunblade is actually something of a misnomer. It doesn't actually fire anything, just detonates an explosive charge to send the shockwave through the blade. It's why hitting the right button as you attack ups your damage. This does mean there's no reason for the handle to be gun shaped (especially as Squall uses it two-handedly) but damn does it look cool.

And how are Vincent's guns stupid? He kicked ass. Especially with Death Blow + Attack Again materia. And he can weild and twirl rifles one handed.
