How it seems that any country without a 2nd Amendment is apparently "right" when it comes to gun laws when debating with us Americans. I don't hate them but I find it silly that I'm supposedly wrong to have a .357 in my basement.

Also, we Americans have idiots in our country. Alot more than most, but thankfully still the minority. Although they end up having the most influence.

My petty problem with the USA: I can't stand Southern accents. They annoy the hell out of me.

I dislike most southern accents as well, usually anyone who tries to do one sounds horrible and I'm deeply offended (even coming from a southerner).

Tea really isn't that good. But the amount people drink here in the UK is ridiculous, you'd think it was free alcohol or something, when it actually just tastes like watered-down water.

A lot of the time these people just aren't taught how to make a proper cup of tea, or the people in their family that made them tea and put them off it don't know how to make tea, OR THEY WEREN'T GIVEN ANY TEA AT ALL WHILE BEING RAISED IN THE UK, and it's just flat out wrong, it should be like, a mandatory part of primary school education to be taught how to make tea in just the right way.

Russia... I don't even know where to begin.

The amount of trash on the streets is horrible. Roads are probably THE WORST on the continent, I am serious, it's like you need a buldozer just to drive to work.

Illegal immigrants are swarming towns in central Russia. What the hell are they even doing here?! It's goddamn Russia for christ's sake! And most of them are violent/crazy. My girlfriend called me yesterday from work (she works night shift at a call-center), saying some illegal immigrants from Azerbaijan RAPED A CAT TO DEATH not far from her workplace. They goddamn RAPED A CAT. TO DEATH. What the bloody hell. I mean I am now bloody scared to go there in the evening to drop her off without my knife, and I am not a small guy.

You know how there are a ton of jokes to be had about British dentistry? Those guy LOVE their sweets! Go anywhere in London, and you're probably a 10 minute walk from a shop filled to the ceiling with chocolates and candies and crap that uses sugar like Italians use olive oil and tomatoes.

And now, the obligatory in-the-interest-of-fairness bashing of my own dear USofA. We have a lot of bat-shit insane people in politics with way more power than I'm comfortable with. Oh, and it's even odds they're taking money from some interest group or another. Oil, coal, whatever.

We actually have some of the best dentistry in the world believe it or not. Mainly because most dentists are usually free on the NHS.

And sweet shops...where are those, I've never seen any, especially nowadays. You can't even find a shop around here with those huge jars of sweets anymore, like when I used to be a young lad.

I remember back in the day, when I bought a hundred cola bottles for a quid, and it made my whole week, getting them. *Shakes Stick*

The reason Americans talk about the British having "bad teeth" is less to do with the health of peoples teeth and more to do with the way they look. In Britain, if your teeth are crooked or irregular or a couple of shades of white away from perfect no-one really cares. In America, this stuff seems to be a much bigger deal, and surgery to sort it out is a lot more common.

Yeah, I guess so, but then again we don't floss.

Why waste taxpayers money to help everyone get straight perfect teeth, as long as they are semi white, have little to no fillings, and are not all crossed over, then I fail to see a problem.

Americans do like to make a mound out of a molehill sometimes.

Saying that though, I did wear braces when I was younger for a while, so my teeth are rather straight. My sisters however used to wear head braces...dear god, those things were some serious monstrosities of contraption.

Ok, maybe that's not a great idea, but coffee will always remain superior to tea, and British stereotypes should change accordingly.

I really hate how smug a lot of us Canadians are in terms of the U.S. We're so confident that we're better than Americans because of how inoffensive we are internationally (at least comparatively) that blatant anti-Americanism for its own sake is ok. There are so many people around here who abhor the idea of judging somebody else based on superficial characteristics that they have no control over...unless you're an American in which case stereotyping is totally ok.

By that same token though, it's really irritating how frequently I've run into Americans that have zero respect for Canada, the key word being respect not fondness. Of course we're nowhere near as powerful by any measure as the United States but a little respect for your largest trading partner and one of the largest suppliers of things like oil and fresh water would be nice.

Seriously... Australia speak the same as us in the UK, and have very similar terms for things! However the US seem to rename/respell things for the sake of renaming/respelling them! Some of it is just stupid! Like 'biscuit'... seriously!? And Aluminium/Aluminum... Why!?

"Aluminium" just sounds bad when our stupid American accents try to say it. And Firefox agrees that it's not a word.

OT: Well, I doubt this is specific to the US, but there are a lot of people around who just simply should not be driving vehicles that weigh a few thousand pounds. People weaving in and out of traffic, people zooming by you going 90 mi/h when the speed limit is 65, people who ride your bumper and act like they're in a huge hurry to get into a car accident.

Also, the US being just about the only country in the world to not use the metric system. WTF, us?
