Well I spent 65$ on Wasteland II just because I wanted the map and the bonus skill, and I've been thinking it wasn't that great an idea but I'll wait until I get my box to make a judgement call on that, other than that well after giving it much thought I am going to purchase a new unopened box of Phantasy Star Online Episodes I$II PLUS for the Gamecube, even though it costs 200 and something dollars, but damn it I've wanted it for way too long so I swear that next month I'm going to buy that, I'm fairly sure that is a waste of money, well I also just purchased a Dreamcast but it hasn't arrived yet, but that was actually just 60$ so not that expensive, I have yet to buy games for it and I also will buy the Arcade Stick, so anyway I'm saying that I want to get into game collecting and I'm starting this year, and I'm going to waste a lot of money on that because I find it exiting and entertaining, though I'm afraid I'm going to run out of space really quickly.

Aftermarket car parts for my daily driver, which is pretty exotic on this side of the pond (though rather common in the UK)... I'm still torn between an engine swap to something common and Japanese or a $3000 intake manifold. Not that it's necessary, the stock manifold is still fine at 38 years old... but I want more horsepower.

...I'm also seriously considering a $2000 PC build. Mine is... old. Still runs modern games smoothly, but only at medium settings. I think with the next round of games I might be forced to low settings, and that's just unacceptable... but so is Windows 7. Quite the conundrum.

Just paid off the remainder of our mortgage.

Handing over that cheque and watching the money vanish out of our account made me shed manly tears.
32 and you own your house? I find that far from stupid. I'm not from the UK, so I dunno how it works over there, but most people here in US don't ever pay off their mortgage.

OT: Fast food. I lead a fairly active lifestyle and that's the only reason I'm not morbidly obese. I am a smidge overweight though (210 when the doctor says she wants me to be 190-200... I'm tall). I just love eating delicious food and since I have no time during the day to put any effort into food prep, I just stop by one of the dozens of fast food joints between work, home, and school... Probably 3-4 times a week. That's like $20-25 a week.

These;

Every one bar the 11th Doctor Sonic was indivually expensive as they are out of production now. But the 10th Doctor Sonic at the top is a metal 1:1 replica limited to only 500 in the world. It cost more than my 10th Doctor trenchcoat but it was worth it.

Well this cost me £50 (and took 7 months to get to me -_-):

I want to cry when I think about how much I spent on my cosplay
£50 on dress (came with socks and long gloves)
about £30 for wig
£10 for headgear
£16 for shoes

I suppose it's not too bad, considering what some people spend. The wig was a good quality and was pretty cheap. The dress was a bargain, some places were selling it for hundreds o_O
It seems pretty pointless now >.< but back then I had more money to spend. Can't do that now D':

So, i'm making this thread purely because I just spent a quite frankly massive amount of money on a stormtrooper outfit
I plan to buy one when I finish my studies. Expensive, yet so cool.

Other than that:
- Gundam model kits. Not as much as I used to, but still a lot of money each year for hunks of plastic that manage to catch horrible amounts of dust.
- Games. Buy sensible things like a new bike? Hell no!
- Rum and gin. And make pirate drinks, arrrr!

At the moment I'm spending a lot of money on medical books, which isn't stupid per se but if you look at the prices of those things you'll probably get my point.
Plus I got a Galaxy Tab recently.

And I just spent money on a birthday present for my ex, I guess many people would call that stupid enough.

I bought this doll [http://aoddoll.net/ProDetail.asp?id=138] for myself. Came to about $285 with shipping. A little over two years later, I made someone else buy this doll [http://iplehouse.net/shop/step1.php?number=2552] for me. I don't know what shipping cost, but with all the extras and options, the doll itself was $721.

Sailor Moon manga books. Sure, it's a decent series, but there are better ones out there that I could buy instead. But I feel like I have to. It's a sense of obligation to myself when I was a kid, because I know that I would have loved this series back then.

Probably my manga collection. It's one of the few things I wont hesitate to spend money on when I find a book I need. I have a weird paranoia that I'll never find it again. I've got coming up to 130 volumes so thats nearly a grand just on those books if I brought them all at full RRP

EDIT: I miss counted, I have 137 volumes which is nearly £1100

My worthless, shitty, car. Some knob drove into me about 3 weeks before the MOT, the annual road-worthiness test, was due and I agnonised about whether to bother keeping the old banger. I decided to go ahead, got £500 for the accident and the MOT was £330. I thought I was quids in and was all strutting around feeling good about myself.

Then the head gasket went a week later.

Also my last computer stopped working one day and I figured that I could buy a replacement PSU for £50 or I could just blow a grand on a new computer. When it turned up I set it up, plugged it in, pressed the on button and... nothing. Turns out it wasn't the PSU that had gone but the fuse in the multiplug.

Lattes from Starbucks. Dont need them, ordinary coffee would do just as well made at work, but every day I pick one up.
