One of my friends likes to be a "samurai" in CoD and several other shooters... Samurai to him means kamikaze with a knife... Sometimes this works well, and sometimes he just epic fails and ends up giving the other team so many kills that the game ends before many of us have died for the first time...
You should see my Left 4 Dead Ninja skills. Those zombies never see what hit them.

When my friend changed my controller sensitivity on cod 4 to insane while i was in the bathroom. When i came back to play i was spinning around like a frog with a rocket up my arse, somehow i still managed to become the Mvp.
Hehe that's a pretty good idea xD

Not a friend persay, but I first got a Halo 3 I thought it would be fun if my little sister played Co-Op with me. We started up the game, skipped the cutscene (really don't give a shit when it comes to Halo) and started running after the mariens.

After about a minite, I realised that Emily wasn't with me. I looked at her screen and saw she was running head long into a wall, looking straight up at the sky. I took the controller and showed her how one analogue stick controls where your looking while the other controls your movement. She couldn't get her head around it.
I think that just about sums me up on any console FPS... I've got far too used to a mouse and keyboard setup, so even thinking about the dual analogue stick makes me feel awkward :S

See I prefer mouse and keyboard too, but dual analogue sticks are fine, except the sensitivity on fps games is stupidly low and it takes you a full year to do a 180 degree turn...
So mouse and keyboard for me please ^^

"How are you suppose to control two things at once" she said "its too hard"

Watching non gamers play games makes me want to rip my hair out.
that reminds me of of My parents and older sister trying to play any thing First person

Oh I certainly wouldn't say it was a bad control system, just that I'm hopeless with it: I tried playing Time Splitters 2 on a friend's old PS2 recently (first time I'd used a console control system for some years), and I was utterly flumoxed by stairs (and, for that matter, aiming...)

A few years ago, I bought a James Bond game (Forgotten it's name) and the control scheme for the analogue sticks was so confusing o_0
Ive forgotten the details, but it was something like the left stick's up and down had been swapped with the left and right sticks controls. It messed with my head....¬.¬

Don't know about my friends, but the stupidest thing I've done on a new game? I felt sorry for the pedestrians I ran over in GTA IV.

I don't even know why I did. I was laughing whilst dropping trucks on people in Garry's Mod years before this!

Stupidist thing a friend ever did in a game? Well once a mate came round to play Melee and chose Pichu as his character despite it being his very first try, punted his ass halfway across the map, least ways when he wasn't catapulting himself off the edge with the spastic jumping Pichu has.

Oh, and there was a time on L4D when one of my friends was standing holding a medkit, just about to heal himself, when a tank spawns, so he panics, runs at the tank flailing the medkit before getting punched in the head, turns out he did 15 damage to the thing! Goooooo MEDKIT!
