Spend enough time on the Religion and politics forum, and you lose tract of what is the stupidest and what is just "middle of the road" stupid.

Asking someone why being gay was bad
"Look, the bible says so so it must be wrong".
First off, I'm not even sure that it does, and the stupidity of it just.... eugh.

Once I had an argument with my friend about which of us had more "world experience" (who had been to more places in the world). I told her that i have been to almost all of the states (I live in the U.S.), Thailand, South Korea, and China. She told me she had been to almost all of the states and Canada. I said "ha ha i win." then she said "no, I win." Then I said "how does having been to almost all the states and one other country compare to being to almost all of the states and 3 other countries?!" she smugly replied "because it does." and then refused to continue the argument.
