I didn't realise that was meant to be a twist, I thought you were supposed to realise that. Fucking stupid.
Yeah but you gotta remember its made for 12 year olds, they're stoopid.

OT: I wanna be different here and say Avatar: Last Airbender (The series)
I was LOVING the whole thing until the end, if you've seen it you know what i mean, it comes out of no where and BAM Plotbending at its finest.

Not so much "Stupid" But it comes out of no where, was unexpected and solved everything because the writers screwed up, which i guess can be seen as stupid.

thats called a "deus ex Machina" and its a poor story telling element that isnt really a twist but usually is just a way to write yourself out of a hole you have dug yourself into

Jade had the power in her all along!

I had actually been giving the writers a bit of credit too. Shame.

The most hilarious one that comes to my mind is a little known movie called dead silence which I saw on the syfy channel (which is an instant mark of quality).

Basically, this dudes father is in a wheelchair, and in every shot of him his daughter is standing just behind him. At the end of the film the dude discovers his dad leaning forward on his own. His entire chest is empty apart from a stick sticking down from his neck. Turns out the guy was a puppet controlled by his daughter.

Needless to say, I burst out laughing. It was awesome.

"God did it." - The Bible.
Though I guess the "twist" here is that the whole thing is fiction, which, by the way, is a spoiler, if you haven't been paying attention since roughly when Galileo was alive.

Also Dan Brown. It's not necessarily that the plot twist is bad (which it is) it's that it's the same plot twist in every book. I read "Angels and Demons," "Da Vinci Code," and "Deception Point," and in each one it goes like this: look for the middle aged wealthy white guy with a bunch of connections who's being really helpful through nearly all of the book. He's the bad guy. Every time.

Every Scooby-Doo episode ever. "Gasp! It was just a complicated system of mirrors and lights and Old Man _________ in a costume!"

I can guess the villain within 5 minutes usually.

It's always either the proffesor, the assistant of some kind, or the owner of whatever haunted mansion they're visiting.

All these and more NOT to be answered in M. Night Shymalan's 'Signs'!

So that's what they all mean by "your wife is your arm!"

God of War 2

Zeus didn't primarily kill you because you were acting like a major twat, waging wars and tearing the land apart, but because you are his bloody son and he fears the whole "son killing dad"-thing Greek mythology got going on. Not only is it incredibly stupid and contrived, but unnecessary. Zeus motivation for killing Kratos in the first place seemed pretty solid. This twist boggled my mind till the point that I actually started resenting the game as a whole for it.
And on the subject of God of War

What's the point of killing a character if he an more or less will himself back to life? Seems all it takes is a desire not to be dead and strong arms to escape the land of the dead. I will admit it was fairly neat the first time because I felt it was something that would fit a traditional Greek story,. The second and thrid time though...

Feel free to add digital fortress to that list. Same twist.

The worst part is that giving the aliens a retarded weakness wasn't enough. They also needed a psychic girl leaving water around the house and a message from god delivered by a dying woman.

Such a daft film.

Signs - Really Shamalamadingdong? Water? Most of the Planet is covered in Water, we consist for the most part of Water. Why not just make it Air and call the Movie ''Why the hell are their Dead Aliens everywhere all of a sudden?''
Technically that was already done in War of the worlds

WoW"Wotlk " There must always be a lich king " SERIOUSLY? So we spent and entire expansion defeating the big bad ass just so we can replace with someone we will most likely kill anyway for the lols.

Also in WoW see how many times people have gone"insane" and we needed to kill them . Seriously , they should fire the entire team behind these stories.
