This, basically is one of the most unbelieveably scary articles i've read recently. Up until the point where they gave her a candy bar. I laughed hysterically at the last line... anyways.

Shit like this has been happening since the dawn of time, but its just creepy to hear about it. Back in the day this kind of story would never have made the light of day.

So what do you Escapists think about this lady?

Edit: Do you think offering candy bars would get confessions out of more criminals?

I don't mean the ones who kill 30 people. I'm talking about the single murders that are creepy but get resolved because the killer isn't terribly bright. Back in the day the local police would have taken care of this without even a mention to the news.

when i was arrested at least they offered me a doughnut...jeez a candy bar...is it bad that the only thing i find terrible with this news that she sold out for a candy bar? hope it was uber awesome candy then. yeah poor guy sick and all but i've heard worse...eg some poor man was accussed of being a child molester and some woman in his community sodmized him with a table/chair leg and straggled him with a phone cord. there was supposedly other torurtes but the media wouldn't print it because it was bad. i see how this sucks for the victim but he could still be alive you know...death must have been blissful at that point
