It was a pilot so it's not a commercial release, therefore you're not ripping anybody off by watching it on youtube. If you liked this and is sad that there's no more content with these characters; don't be. They will take part of a new anime movie called Redline which is soon getting released in japan (and hopefully soon the rest of the world.)

FLCL and One Piece are pretty comical, funniest anime I've seen so far. Also, Yu Yu Hakusho is kinda funny, the main characters actually say some pretty hilarious shit every now and again.

Then go watch Hunter X Hunter, starts of a bit slow but improves greatly the more you go into it.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro Chan

Two season of about 6 episodes each in which you explode from laughing.
Also Digimon
Calumon: There's a joke in there... right?
I second dokuro chan

PS:No one is joking when they said you will explode from laughing(you have been warned)

Azumanga Daioh, perhaps? :p
Hmm... I'm intrigued I'll look it up later. =o
School girls of various ages (one starting to become a lesbian) and silly teachers.
Kind of sounds like bits and pieces of K-ON and Kashimashi now I'm really intrigued, now I just have to find a good internet connection. >.<

if your looking for a comedy, I recommend bleach.
I always find it hilariously absurd when a character manages to pull another great wad of power from their rear end.

(sarcasim sign not really funny.)

still recommend it though, just can't get enough when you skip the fillers.

Hajime no Ippo.

Besides being just a series about boxing, it has a lot of a HILARIOUS moments, the characters are funny and have rich personalities, although the interracton between the main character and his love interest makes me wanna smack my head against a wall.

It also has another thing going for it. The training scenes are so full of energy that you'll suddenly find yourself wanting to go for a jog or hit the gym. Truly, the best shonen anime I've ever seen. Yes, better than DBZ.

Lucky star is pretty funny and, to me, sort of soothing. There's just something about watching girls discussing how to eat a chocolate cornet all day that relaxes me...
.>

(For reference: It is kinda like K-ON, but with less story and structure.)

Or, if you want something more than just meaningless entertainment:

Yeah, I too say you should go watch Clannad and Clannad After Story. Not just because it's funny (it is), but because it is one of the few truly great anime out there.

I was already going to recommend it before I had read the OP, as I always do in one of these threads.
Which brings me to my next subject: There are a lot of these threads already. There's even one dedicated to posting these kinds of requests in. We don't really need more of them.

Jungle wa itsumo Hare nochi Guu, Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei, Excel Saga or Puni Puni Poemy. You may need to take up heavy drinking to get the most out of Puni Puni Poemy though :)

Ah, sorry I didn't think there would be one, I guess it was just karma then that after I posted the thread my power went out. O-o

Paranoia Agent is sort of a comedy, albeit a touch twisted and demented. Well, I like it.

1. Serial Experiments Lain, It's The Second coming of Jesus, I even did a review!!! [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.214642-Sacmans-Sac-tastic-Anime-Review-Serial-Experiments-Lain]

2. Ergo Proxy, A lot of people say Ergo Proxy is an anime you have to think about but on reflection it feels more like a parody or satire of over pretentious anime like Eva. The last episode is even titled "Deus Ex Machina."

3. Elfen Lied, What this show does is hard to explain. It's gory and bloody and filled with tasteless nudity but I loved it. Elfen Lied just got me so attachedto the characters that come the end I cried...

4. Welcome To The NHK. It's hard to explain... I mean it's really the only slice of life I've ever loved this much but I'm just not exactly sure why. It could be the pitch black humor, the realistic characters, the social satire, or even the brilliant writing. Honestly, however, I think it's more the fact that Sato's, The main character's, situation hit's very close to home for me...

5. FLCL. I hate to sound like everyone else but FLCL is 6 episodes of awesome craziness!!!

6. Blue Sub No. 6. I used to watch this as a kid on Toonami and I really didn't get it but going back to watch all 4 episodes now I can safely say it's one of the most polished OVA series I've ever see, with an amazing soundtrack, great action, great animation, a standout art style, and one of the most coherent messages about human nature I've seen in anime.

7.Gundam The 08TH MS Team. It really stands out for me because it's one of the few Gundam series that give a general sense of fear because the action is unpredictable and the characters really endear themselves to the audiance...

8. Paranoia Agent. It's a truly great murder mystery that keeps you guessing at every turn but look past that and you'll find a very intriguing deconstruction of the human mind...

9.Gungrave. Possibly one of the most underrated shows I've seen. Gungrave is a truly great story about friendship, love and betrayal without ever falling into cheesiness the great animation, spectacular fight scenes and well thought out character development doesn't hurt either.

10.Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. Despite having no real plot, since I consider Kai and Rei to be non canon, Higurashi is one of the most atmospheric and frightening shows I've ever seen. It constantly keeps you guessing and always gives a feeling of paranoia and dread...

Kodomo no Jikan [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlaT4bgCDnE]
No seriously, it's about the "romance" between a 9 year-old student and her 23 year-old teacher. What's not to love? :p

If that's not your cup of tea, there's always the Ouran Highschool Host Club [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFAmWZ6sxks] it's very, very funny. That's about all the anime I've watched that fill your demands. I recommend you check both out. :)
