If you liked Motorstorm, you might like Pure. It's not quite the same kind of game but it's an arcadish game focusing on speed. Grid might also be up your alley. Just test the demos.

I'd also suggest Sonic Unleashed if it weren't for the shitty night levels that take like three fourths of the game and suck royally. Such a shame how much that game sucks. The potential is there.

If you liked Grand Theft Auto, go try Saint's Row. It's 10x better than GTA and doesn't take itself serious...which is amazing.
Were you being sarcastic? A game not taking itself seriously can be good (or bad), but I don't see it being amazing.

Also, saying you don't like FPS is a pretty blanket statement. Do you not like generic FPS games or do you not like any, period. Reason I ask is because Dead Space is a third person shooter that is an amazing game. Are you just not good at them or just don't like them because of something else? If you liked Uncharted, which is a 3PS, you will like Dead Space.
What does FPS have to do with Dead Space? He said he dosn't like FPSers, which simply means he dosn't like games from a limited first-person perspective with a gun in your face.

Maybe you meant to put it like this...

I'm not trying to be an asshole, I was just confused by your post.

Nobody can tell you what games you truly want because to do that you would have to type who you really are and you can't explain who you are with words on a forum.
No shit, Dr Phil. I'm sure he's aware that we can't read his mind and select the perfect game for him. He just wants suggestions on what he should check out. He's not looking for the Holy Grail Of Sony, manifested by destiny, fated only to him.

Beyond Good and Evil. Sequel's coming out soon. Or Shadow of the Colossus. Both PS2 games. Sorry I didn't name any PS3 games, I just have a PS2 and those are both good games for it.

This is what search engines are for.

Simply go to Google.com.
I'll spell it for you G-O-O-G-L-E.

Type in the genre(s) for the system(s) you like.
Then press press the button labeled "Search".

This should bring up a few pages related to the keywords you used.
To go onto the next page, simply scroll to the bottom of the screen, and click on the page number that follows the one you are currently on.
Fucking search-bar crybabies. I'm sure he knows how to find a fucking PS3/PS2 game on his own. He can write, and has made his own account, apparently. He doesn't need your snide baby-talk to remember that there are search bars for looking up stuff.
What he wants here is suggestions for which ones real people like and are willing to recommend. I'm sure on the side he's checking out reviews and doing his own research.

You seem to like platformers and racing games for the most part so I would suggest Psychonauts on PS2 (hilarious story/dialog).

As for racing, If you prefer a sim checkout GRID, if you like more arcade style, the newest Midnight Club game is pretty fun.

Also I know it was already suggested but since you liked Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank is a can't miss series (Up Your Arsenal on PS2 was my fav.)

I say since you like the straight forward action adventure games(I believe that is what they are called) like Jak and the PoP series, you should try out God of War 1 & 2 and the Devil May Cry series, both of which are crazy fun and should provide hours of entertainment (they even have a DMC anniversary collection with all 3 of the PS2 games in it)..and since u have the PS3, if u like those u can get thier next gen sequels

Look into Ratchet and Clank. It's very similar to Jak and Daxter, and it's also very fun, although I still prefer Jak. Also, if you are into platformers, look into Sly Cooper on the PS2. Yeah, it's last-gen, but it's awesome.

Chill.
I shall not! I will scream into the heavens of the seas, and purge myself in the deepest flames that licked the cracks of the earth. I shall be consumed body and mind, and my soul shall rise from the mouth of Death. I will ascend to the tomb of the Holy Grail of SONY, hidden within the dark places of Howard Stringer's sanctuary. I shall cast down the keepers of things forgotten, I shall break them upon the hardest rock. I shall cut them in the deepest places of their soul, I shall make them flee to the ends of the universe. And then Howard will know my will. His skin will open up, and rivers of bile and blood will pour from his hollow bones, I shall reach into the depths of the shinning flood, and reach for that which Futurehead has yearned.
LET FUTUREHEAD'S DESIRE BE FUFUILLED! LET HIM NOT SEARCH THE DECEPTIVE HALLS OF IGN. FIND THE THINGS WHICH ARE MOST PRECIOUS. OFFER UP TO HIM BY FIRE AN ELECTRONIC PLEASURE THAT WILL SEE HIM TO SWEET MEDOWS OF DELIGHT. TO REST IN ETERNAL BLISS, OR UNTIL HIS PS3 BREAKS, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST!

From what I can glean from the demo, you might enjoy InFamous, it "feels" a lot like Uncharted, just with a big change in setting and concept.

Also pretty much any of the Ratchet and Clank games should be right up your alley.
In fact, one of the Ratchet and Clank games are called, "Up Your Alley."

Yeah, try Ratchet and Clank and Assassin's Creed.
No, that was "Up Your Arsenal".

Anyway, there's a few "classics" I think you'd like. You have to play Psychonauts at least once (for PS2 or free on Gametap), and ICO and Shadow of the Colossus are full of win.

In addition, you might like Mirror's Edge. It's a fairly polarizing game, but I enjoyed it a good deal.

DUDE! Chill.
Are you...afraid? I meant no harm to pass your way. Yet the specters of my dark deeds do look upon thee, disturbing vengeance forms within their hollow cores. But fear not, with a wave of my hand, they fade into the flow of time. they shall "chill" forevermore.
For a moment, you are alone. But wait just a moment, and feel.
Do you see now?
Can you hear it?
The hideous shadow that clamped to the outer shell of your mind has crawled away, it will recieve its everlasting punishment. You shall diarrhea it out later, there may be sharp pains.
But lo, your broken wings have mended. You shall smell the new flesh stretch across your shoulders, you shall feel the feather cascade your back. As the roots of your wings grow anew into your spine, you shall spread them, and shall ascend to the ends of the spiral. There, were all lights shine, you shall be awakened, and shall see the will of Fururehead manifest.
Then, you will know what we seek, and why.

Oh, yeah. I feel stupid now...
