Suggest Me A Horror Film

Ive been looking for a while now, and to my disapointment I havent found a Horror Film that really scares the living daylights out of me.

Im asking you guys to suggest me one. It could be a range of different horrors like Mind Fucks, Gore or 'put in dark room, in silence and randomly flash something scary looking, acompaneid with screams' or anything really.

Im just in the mood for something truley scary, I feel the need to test my nerves.

However I have a nagging feeling I may regret this . . . . . . heh

The Japanese do horror really well. Although a lot of the themes you'll find might seem a little played out these days, after so many American films have copied them.

If that, you'll want to play some horror games like Silent Hill and Amnesia: The Dark Decent.

If we're keeping it strictly to films though, eh, depends on what kind of things scare you really.

The Shining is awesome. A Nightmare on Elm Street is a real MF at times. Halloween is pretty intense. Scanners is okay if you like that sort of thing. Ringu and Ju-on are both pretty good as well. The Blair Witch Project is pretty freaky as well. Out of all those, I would recommend The Shining and Blair Witch Project the most. Both have great stories and are extremely frightening.

Call me old fashioned, but the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is good. That, or you could just go in for those video nastys, like Cannibal Holocaust and suchlike.

Alien could be considered Sci-fi or horror. Either way it's a freakin' amazing movie. If you're claustrophobic The Descent is pretty frightening but if you watch it with the American ending definitley youtube the British ending aferwards. Spoiler: It's a lot darker.

If you are into Asian related stuff then I suggest checking out The Ring, Grudge or A Tales of Two Sisters (avoid the crappy American remake).
For non Asain film than I will jsut suggest "Phantoms". That film is sort of like the game Silent Hills but it was release before the official films.

my favorite movie is a horror film by the name of FROM DUSK TILL DAWN. I was thinking recently how it may be only one of my top 5s, but I rewatched it yesterday and mmmmmm so good.
