So, Im getting an ipod touch soon, and Im looking for some music to fill up its 8gb of space, and i thought you guys could help, so here goes.

My favourite bands at the moment are the blackout, bloc party and the older killers stuff (ie sams town.) Im not that keen on screamo metal, but I am open to suggestions. No cheesey pop whatsoever.

Other than that, your good to go, show me some of your favorite songs, and I am looking forward to your suggestions.

Ta, rosac

Can't go wrong with Bruce Springsteen!
And if you like him then check out The Gaslight Anthem

I'm not really sure what to suggest to someone who likes The Blackout... You Me At Six? I hear they're the kings of british pop-punk right now
I have to admit The Blackouts very first EP was brilliant, quality hardcore. Thems were the days

My personal favourite bands are Gallows, Converge, Rise Against, Rancid, The Clash, AFI, Cancer Bats and many more

If you like The Blackout then maybe you'll like AFI's newer stuff

Might as well throw out my two current addictions:

...and the standard mention of my favourite song ever:

Oh, might as well go for this too. Not sure if it's what you'd call "screamo metal" (it's neither screamo nor metal, but people seem to make up their own genre classifications at will these days) but I like it an' all.

If your a fan of Breaking Benjamin, I could recomend the entire "Dear Agony" album. It's pretty good.

Other than that, \m/ (*_*) \m/ <--- Pretty much says it all.

I hear the Jonas Brothers are good. I much prefer Miranda Cosgrove.

If you thought Sams Town was good, you will like the two artists mentioned above.

The Beatles. They have so many kick ass songs from their earlier stuff (Do You Want To Know A Secret as an example) To their experimental days (Rubber Soul, Revolver, and Sgt. Peppers are incredible albums), to their last album (Abby Road or Let It Be) rock.

Also the Kinks and ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) Rock.
