Well, not really old, just anything good that my graphics card can run, it's really shitty. Like 128mb graphics memory. I have like 4gb ram, so no need to worry about that. I just need some games to play on PC for right now because I let someone borrow my PS3 for a while. Games on Steam preferred, but I'll look into any, even if I have to order it off Amazon or something.

Quake Live, Counter Strike 1.6, CoD2, Portal (lots of indoor places with simple textures), and a lot more if you just look in to it.

Is that much different than Oblivion? Because when I had my PS3 I clocked in like 80 hours on it, and I don't think I would want to put a lot of time on an inferior version of a game I already played.

Its much much much better, its more atmospheric and it has more skills and abilities as well as the lands ranging from dark marshes to colorful forrests and plains. Also the character creation makes more sense and isn't as generalized. In my opinion(and 99.9% of other people on this website) it is much better.

The Tex Murphy adventure game series, available for download from gog.com, $10 a piece. I recommended start with Under A Killing Moon and working through Overseer. The series uses real actors for the roles and stars co-creator Chris Jones as Tex Murphy, a frequently down on his luck detective working out of the mutant section of Old San Francisco in the 2040's. Heck, Under A Killing Moon has James Earl Jones in it and he plays the voice of God!(sort of), how awesome is that? and he reads Edgar Allan Poe!

I'll definitely grab it then since it's about $7 on Amazon...

Conquest:Frontier Wars. One of the best RTS's ever. It could be very hard to find though.

And simply so you have the view of the supposed .01%, the combat in morrowind sucks bigtime. I suppose it would have been better had I not played oblivion first, but going from the player skill based rpg of oblivion to the character skill based rpg of morrowind kinda sucked. At the start, you will miss 70% of the time, and you just have to repetitively click (hold? I can't remember) the mouse button until the other person dies. Also, stealth gameplay seems worse.

But I will agree the world is more unique than oblivions was. The character creation is more in depth too. The story, well I can't comment on in, I never got that far.

You are right the combat was horrid. Unless you skill was medium-ish you would miss every shot even though it seemed dead on but this makes it nessisary to up your skills because Oblivion just gave you special moves and the hits where all based on your aim and not your skills
