Hi there, I am planing on building a new rig but have not built a new one in the past 6 years so I'm abit out of date of new hardware, I have searched reviews and specs but I tend to get conflicting results on products.
My limit is $1200 dollers/taxs (Canada in Manitoba 12 percent).
Games I intend to play are Crysis 1/2, Battlefield 3, Modern Warefare 3, more to the list but I only listed high demand ones only. I prefer to ran at least 40 fps on high settings.
Since I have been doing research on a new computer, let me give you a recommendation.

9 times out of 10, when you buy a pre-built rig, you're getting screwed at least price wise. Hard. Usually the pre-built rigs offer inferior builds at inflated prices compared to what you can make. Hence why everyone rightfully says build your own. However, in this case, it's actually cheaper to buy this pre-built rig not only because it's a good system, but it's cheaper than buying all the individual parts and putting it together.
Anyway, the Mobo on this is recognized as great by tech sites, the CPU is pretty damn fast, and the GPU, while not the bleeding edge in technology, is still pretty damn current and is more than sufficient to handle any game now and well into the future. Quick note: Sometimes people put emphasis on the GPU, but in reality, your CPU is far more likely to bottleneck your system than the GPU. As for the RAM, well, if you want more than 8 gigs, it's not like it's too expensive. Another downside MAY be the 600w PSU, but that would be in specific instances, I think. One other downside I have seen from reviews is if you're trying to overclock the hell out of it and need to water cool it, you might need to get a bigger case.
However, I feel it's only fair to state that the above paragraph should have a disclaimer of "In Theory". I'm actually receiving mine today(I bought it when the shipping was still free hehe), so if you want I'll let you know how it runs in practice. I ordered mine 2 days ago and had basic shipping(I did add on the expedited processing though). That is damn fast to not only build it, but also ship it during the christmas season. Now let's hope it doesn't come with half a side missing or anything.
Also, if this doesn't strike your fancy, google Falcon Guide. It's a user-friendly guide someone put together, and seems to be updated regularly, that has builds that are known to already be compatible and has price estimates for parts.
Go nuts.
