Right, so, tomorrow as a form of celebrating the end of exams I'm going into town, trading in a few games, and getting a new one (on the 360).

I don't know what I want to get, so I want you, Escapees, to suggest some games to me.

I don't really know what genre, just gimme some ideas and I'll decide tomorrow! I like most types of games, but I think this time I'd like to have one that focuses on Single Player.

It doesn't have to have just come out or anything, I'll settle for two cheaper ones from a year or two (or three) ago!

Edit:

Games I'll be looking at buying:

Saints Row 2
The Godfather
The Saboteur
LA Noire
Oblivion

Lazy Kitty

You could try the Fable games...

Oh and as trololo punk suggested: Saints Row 2.

Next I'd also like to suggest The Godfather.

And if you haven't played it yet: Assassin's Creed.

Played all three Fables. Loved the first, the others were.... Eh.

The Godfather might be a good one, I'll check it out.

Looking forward to Revelations.

I'd recommend Bully Scholarship edition. It is probably dirt cheap by now so you could probably get that and another game or two. This is the lesser appreciated than the other Rockstar games on 360 (GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire). However, I think I actually had the most fun playing this one.

Dragon Age: Origins. I think it works well on the Xbox (And yes, I did try out the PC version at a friends house. It was ehh compared to sitting on my couch)

Or Mass Effect. That's a fun game.

Or LA Noire. Loving it thus far.

Played Origins and Mass Effect.
Staying away from DA2 until I can borrow it off someone, not gonna pay for it.

I was considering LA Noire, but it really depends on how much New Vegas and AssCreedBroHood can get me.

Saint's Row 2, definitely.
I'm thinking about trading in some games to see if I can pick up Shadows of the Damned, myself.

If you like that sort of game, The Saboteur is also good. It's unpolished at parts, and downright broken in others, but still fun to play.

I say Alice: Madness returns, Portal 2, Lost Odyssey.
Have Portal 2 on PC, Lost Odyssey almost made me vomit, not really too interested in Alice.

And yeah, I've heard good things about The Saboteur

Of those on that list: Saints Row 2, easily. Very easily.
Well, not necessarily just on the list...

They're just ones I'm gonna keep an eye on the prices for.

Any other suggestions in case I can't find them?

Oh, sure.

The Mass Effect series is great if you like sci-fi, and although it's not my game I've heard very high praise for TES 4: Oblivion. And if you do like sci-fi and Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas are the logical next step.

I'd also recommend The Orange Box, as it contains the entire Half Life 2 sub-series so far, which is an unmissable single player experience[footnote]Apparently, I'm the back of the box[/footnote].

Finally, Red Dead Redemption.

I have all of those games.

Except Oblivion, but I didn't really give that too much of a chance. Kinda got bored after getting out of the sewers and being ridiculously confused with regards to where I was meant to go...

I'll keep an eye out for that too.

Yes, same here. Okay, um...

Bioshock, Portal 2, Assassin's Creed(s), Torchlight (on the XBLA). They're all good singleplayer games.
