Are we picking tunes that we like or tunes that describe ourselves?

Because either we're really arrogant or the description is that of a D&D character.
You mean I'm not my D&D character!? ;-)

I think my new one is Ahti by Ensiferum. Such a good song but it's also like, about a sea-monster. So it's totally me.
So THAT'S what that song is about!

But seriously, my song would be "Another Day Goes By" by 'Dope'.

Not my favourite band, but the whole idea of wanting to change my boring, going nowhere life but knowing I never really will is something that I think about a lot - and that's what the song seems to be about, to me.

Do you folks like coffee?
Real coffee...
From the hills of Colombia!

Then Duncan Hills will wake you,
From a thousand deaths.
A cup of life blood.
Dying! Dying!
You?re dying for a cup!

Chicks Dig Giant Robots - Deathwish IX (From Megas XLR) Except I don't live in Jersey. :( But yes, that song. For four reasons... 1. You dig giant robots. 2. I dig giant robots. 3. We dig giant robots. 4. Chicks dig giant robots...nice!

If not, probably Shrinking Universe by Muse. One could say I have issues... Or just that my dreams are usually about some kind of apocalypse. The fun kind, though. With zombies and guns.

I think I may have seen this thread before but whatever it is all good, I am not going to bust your balls for it.
Anywho to get on topic- "to the stars" by Randy Edelman from Dragonheart. no vocals, starts out sad, but is moving and uplifting.
Also suitable is "Fight to Survive" By Stan Bush from Bloodsport. I know with what I have choosen to do it will be a struggle and I am going to be both metaphorically and literally fighting to survive.
Strangely enough "On My Own-Alone" Also from bloodsport performed by Stan Bush written by Shandi Cinnamon and Paul Hertzog. "Hurts to find you failed the test, knowing that you gave your best."
and sadly to some extent "D&D" by Stephen Lynch, although not quite that bad. I have friends though, that fit that song perfectly.

Chiron - All That Remains [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCkG0jUxdYg]. Intense, with mellow parts, and the lyrics are quite accurate to me.
I'm gonna have to agree with that. There's plenty of others (mainly by The Smiths or Morrissey solo) that would do the job but this'll do for right now.
