I read 1984. I'm hoping to read a clockwork orange too then I'm set for my english dissertation. No question about it, that's what I'm doing it on: How people try to repress human nature.

The Life of Pi and V for Vendetta are the only things I've had time to read. I've been really, really, busy this summer, as I'm out of the country and exploring China.

Path of the Warrior
The Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid

These are both long books and they should last me some time... well Path of the Warrior will.

Also this summer finally finished Dawn of War Omnibus and reread The Zombie Survival Guide.

The Man in the High Castle by Phillip .K Dick. I've haven't been reading it enough for my liking though.

I also plan on picking up a copy of The Woman in Black before I go on holiday.

Join Me! by Danny Wallace.

Most famous to gamers as the angry nerd from Assassins Creed 2, but known for other things like creating his own micro-nation and being the guy who lived 6 months as "Yes man" which was later poorly adapted and turned into a Jim Carrey vehicle.
I really liked his Conspiracy series on Sky 1.

Anyway, i'm currently reading How To Kill, which regards itself as the definitive guide to the Assassin. Essentially it's a collection of short stories about real life assassination attempts, successful and failed.

I also have a copy of the Tao Te Ching in my briefcase, but i mostly just sit and pretend to read that while sitting outside Starbucks.

I am waiting for two books from Amazon to arrive. Modernism by Peter Gay and a History of Western Philosophy by Bertrand Russell, those will keep me going till September :)

Just read Kick Ass at my girlfriend's house today. Besides that, I've been reading a lot of Durrell and Kafka, which is an odd combination.

'For Whom the Bell Tolls' by Ernest Hemingway. It has been sitting on my bedside locker for quite sometime now but I only have 70 pages to go. I've read about five or six other books while trying to get through it.

After that I'm not sure, might re-read the Harry Potter series for extremely light-reading funsies.
