Sunday Question: What do you, as a gamer, watch on TV?

I was watching TV like an hour ago, and I thought : What kind of show do you watch on TV?
So I would like to hear about what do you watch on the idiot box while you're not playing games.

EDIT: This is not intended to be a list thread. The idea is to discuss about your TV watching habits and how they are affected by gaming.

I watch how its made or dirty jobs mostly. Once in a while Ill turn on little people big world.

Very little - usually whatever's on dave - Top gear, QI, buzzcocks (pre-amstrell preferably) etc, i guess lost counts but i have to torrent that since sky bought it, heroes too when thats around... Um... The odd simpsons perhaps, and either the BBC news or pokemon when i wake up. (For the latter - shush, i need something colourfull and shouty!)

My gaming habits do not affect my TV-watching habits.

I enjoy: [Scrubs], House, Lie to Me, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, NCIS, etc.

But they certainly interfere with the time you have to watch TV, don't they?

A veritable mix. I was watching Primeval earlier, and I'll be watching Britain's Got Talent, The Apprentice, My Family, Beat the Star, Tonight's the Night, Skins and The Inbetweeners tomorrow. I also like Lost, Heroes and Scrubs and want to start watching Fringe and Gossip Girl (I'm a guy, by the way, so that's a pretty odd choice I suppose). So yeah, a huge mix of all sorts (These are mostly British stuff if you hadn't already guessed).

Incidentally, there was a question posed in our student newspaper on Friday, where basically you can tell a person's personality by the sort of TV they watch. This was in the Features section, and the author gave various examples she'd seen of people's TV choices reflecting their inner selves. So I wonder what such a mix like that above would say about me...

I enjoy: House, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles

House and Terminator are some of the best shows on TV. If Fox cancels Sarah Connor Chronicles, I don't know what I'd do.

Probably get really mad at Fox for a couple of days, then slowly mellow out over a period of 6 months. By that time they'll have another really good show on that's destined to be canceled.

Also like: M*A*S*H, Lost, Spaced, The Office (UK), and crappy Sci-Fi movies.

I gave up watching TV 4 years ago. Now if I watch stuff it's occasional, and it's on DVD, or on the computer.

I watch all kinds of shows ill list all i can think of.. Lost, Scrubs, House, Monk, Burn Notice, Reno 911, Bizarre Foods, Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, The Unusuals, Family Guy, South Park, Futurama..... oh and Krod Mandoon... well that's all i can think of at the moments

I mean, what can I watch TV? Family Guy? I'd rather not watch Seth McFlarnes personal ego trip.

Mostly things on the History, Military, and National Geographic channels. Also, Comedy Central (watching 'Going to Prison' right now) and occasionaly channels with Family Guy on it.

EDIT: I almost forgot the horrendous SciFi original movies. I watch those, too.

See, I'd kidnap the children of whoever made the decision and kill them.
And I agree completely.

It would be better if you kidnap their children but use them as bait, and when their parents come you blow them up (parents included).

A more dramatic choice.

lots: I do watch the g4tv channel a bit but I do enjoy discovery and comedy central networks. At night ill be specific, two and a half men, scrubs, everybody hates chris (sometimes), a random movie, supernatural etc
