I am (was) an ardent fan of Scrubs as well as Better Off Ted. I used to watch a lot of South Park and Futurama but not so much as of lately. I also watch X play and AOTS once or twice a week.

Nothing ill occasionaly watch the news or a decent sitcom with my old man but appart from that and buying movies quitting tv was one of the best things I ever did been years without watching it day in day out and so damned glad over that.

Usually i take a brake from gaming at about 9pm watch Supernatural on ITV2 then watch Family Guy on BBC3 if I feel like it I catch the rerun of Heroes as I'm in work when the episode is shown first time. Can't wait for the new series of Top gear though, watch the reruns now and then on dave/BBC2

I don't think I've watched TV outside of the Hockey Playoffs in about 5 months. Its all just boring.

If I do watch TV, its either Family Guy, Robot Chicken, South Park, or that 70's Show Reruns.

Family Guy (though it's gotten a LOT crappier as time's gone on), Code Monkeys, WWE wrestling, Mad TV, and South Park are what I watch most.

Pretty much anything on Comedy Central, as well as Law and Order. That's about it.

EDIT:Forgot Code Monkeys, wonderful show. Haven't seen it in awhile though.

I don't know that my gaming habits affect my TV viewing habits all that much, except for a preference in SF-themed shows/games. I also like games with a strong emphasis on storyline. This carries over into shows with compelling narratives and characters. Right now, my favorite shows are the American version of Life on Mars (despite being canceled), The Sarah Connor Chronicles, House, The Unusuals, In Plain Sight, Brothers & Sisters, and Dollhouse. Make of that what you will.

I don't watch TV at all at school. I've got a cable hookup in my room, my TV's just all the way across the room from it and I don't want to run a cable across.

When I'm at home, I'll usually watch Mythbusters, How It's Made, Dirty Jobs, Top Gear (even though I don't care much for cars), and Doctor Who. I only watch TV occasionally, though, so I don't really get caught up in any overarching storylines.

I think the only way my gaming affects my TV watching is by taking up the time I could be using watching TV.
