I had no idea this was happening. I just woke up today and it was right there on the front page of steam. I knew there were rumors, but otherwise this was a total stealth release to me.

But I'm happy, because I really enjoyed that game when I had an Xbox and it was one of the games I regretted not being able to play a couple years later.

And it's also available on Steam, rather than just through the Windows 10 Store. And for $20 at that. So overall I'm happy with finding out about this.

Honestly the most impactful part of that is that it's not just on windows store, I guess MS is finally learning that no one want to have multiple store (look forward to this problem in the the netflix vs every telecom company soon).

But the game always looked cool but there were very little talk about it after release but it wasn't clear if this was because it was an exclusive or because it was meh. I'll keep my hear to the ground in the next few day for an answer.

I bought a second hand Xbox One mostly to play this along with some Halo and Gears of War as a secondary benefit. So... yeah.... Welcome surprise, I'll probably get it. Never really had time to sit down and play it.

Well tbh they have released some games on Steam before like Dead Rising 4 and Halo Wars.

Always looked interesting, tried it on Xbox One when I had game pass but I couldn't stand the 720p/30ish fps. Now I might finally be able to enjoy it.

I just saw this earlier and went to check, since I remember seeing the name before but couldn't remember where. Sure enough, former console exclusive, now on PC. I'm assuming it's a "complete" version?

Has anyone played it in it's original form? Or hell, even the new PC version? Would love to know if it is any good and worth getting. $20 isn't a big ask, and frankly I'm surprised they priced it that way. I was expecting a full $50+, so we could all complain about how they're charging so much for a several year old console port.

Was it a launch title? Is it fun? Story? Action?

Yeah, that's one of those games I've heard bits about every so often but don't know much about. Is it any good? Or should I ask, is it a decent port?

And apparently Killer7 is on steam now too, which is another exclusive I've heard interesting things about.

It's the complete single player experience. Apparently the original console version had a multiplayer component as well, but that's missing from the PC version.

Killer 7 is very weird, that's kind of the point of it. It's a bit a case of style over substance, the actual gameplay is not all that interesting, but the weirdnest of it is pretty fun.

Yathzee had made that much clear. He's never really talked about Killer7 but he's talked about other Suda51 games and how wierd they be.

Only 22 bucks Canadian, why not, I bought it downloading it now.
Please please let us know how you find it. Would love to hear what you think.
It's really good, it's funny, and the game play is different being more dynamic than most games. Runs at 60 FPS 1080P without a hitch, even with the area filled with enemies. Customization is fun, and I like that you can be either a male or female character. Think I will have trouble putting this one down.

It's a colorful, almost Saint's Rowish (in terms of general insanity, just no thug stuff) open world third person shooter that has a wonderfully addictive traversal mechanic of grinding on rails and other objects, and using a lot of them as spring boards. It's pretty obvious this is by the same developer that did the recent Spiderman game, because movement feels very good.

Humor is fine, but sometimes I got the feeling it was trying too hard, but it's inoffensive enough. Definitely a colorful and pretty game.

I've seen a few people complain about PC specific performance problems, but I didn't have any issues, but I do have a 1080ti. I would recommend a controller though. The mouse aiming feels...off to me. Someone explained it as if it was just a mouse emulating a controller. Kind of hard to do really fast movements and flicks. (There is a post from the devs saying they are working on a patch for this issue very soon)

It's certainly worth $20.

Thank you for the synopsis. I put a lot more value on a post like yours than a random critic so appreciate the reply. I've just come out of Bloodborne so I'm due something more cathartic and "Saint's Rowish" sounds great. Thanks for the insights.
