Based on the video, I wanted to ask whether the release date was the first of April, but now that I took a look at the actual Kickstarter page... It actually looks intriguing. I mean, first I thought this was some silly gag-game designed to appeal to the meta-comedy crowd, but the actual description shows a surprisingly clever game with some interesting design ideas. Color me interested.

I began typing a paragraph halfway through the video, pointing out the historical error of having an American minuteman refer to the redcoats as "British" rather than "Commoner"... then Bahamut was summoned, and I had to critically reconsider my response.

EDIT: Anime George Washington is the best George Washington. I am going to petition the US Treasury to redesign the 1-Dollar bill to fit this.

Hm, not enough to see in that preview. Need to wait/investigate. Overall i like the complete over-the-top-ness of historical/real figures in a weird surreal way. Depends on writing and gameplay in this case though.

Bad idea. Washington got his ass handed to him repeatedly by the Brits, or so it says in my 3 page "Let's learn about the Revolution!" book (now chewable and washable!)
Make a game about Teddy Roosevelt. Give him a bear mount and the ability to stun enemies with his moustache, then choke on all the pre-order money.

You can have him save children, but not the British children. Maybe start off the game explaining how he killed his sensei, but don't explain why.
