If you're talking about the North American Final Fantasy III then yes they are the same game.EboMan7x said:EDIT: I'm a bit confused about Final Fantasy 6 and Final Fantasy 3...... are they like the same game, or what?
You are unlikely goign to be able to find Earthbound.EboMan7x said:I have effectively acquired a SNES, and I have Chrono Trigger. So any other recommendations? Whats your favorite SNES game? Why? Etc?

I'm aware of that. However, as far as I'm aware, the OP was asking for SNES games (cartridges), not ROMs.Zekksta said:Although the game was only published in Japan, Western players have been able to come into contact with Seiken Densetsu 3 thanks to an unofficial English fan translation. What I wouldn't do to have another bash at Double Dragon.. or Double Dragon 2 !Signa said:It's like Final Fantasy, but then the battle system switches to a side-scroller brawler like Double Dragon.
[sub]You've probably just been swamped with replies to that but here we go[/sub] Final Fantasy VI was released in the U.S. as Final Fantasy III on the Super Nintendo. This is because the U.S. didn't actually get Final Fantasy 2, 3 or, 5 until years later.EboMan7x said:EDIT: I'm a bit confused about Final Fantasy 6 and Final Fantasy 3...... are they like the same game, or what?
It's a good game, plus I share a name with one of the main characters, but the OP might have trouble playing it on an actual US console, which is what it seems he has.Zekksta said:As far as I'm aware, the OP was asking for recommendations, and then asked us what our favourite SNES games were.madwarper said:I'm aware of that. So, Seiken Densetsu 3 doesn't qualify, unless the OP is either from Japan and/or can read Japanese.
I'm not sure how Seiken Densetsu 3/Secret of Mana 2 doesn't qualify as one of my favorite games or become any less of a recommendation just because the OP might not be from Japan or be unable to read Japanese.
Seriously. I agree with him fully. Go for Yoshi's Island. It. Is. Amazing.not_you said:Yoshi's Island (Super mario world 2): Just because it's the first Yoshi game....
Enough said... Still one of the hardest games to 100% complete anyway...
It's like any other mario platformer really.... except you can hover for a while before dying... Because you'll die a lot on the later levels... Especially for 100%
Am I the only one who thinks "effectively acquired" means "illegally downloaded"?EboMan7x said:I have effectively acquired a SNES, and I have Chrono Trigger. So any other recommendations? Whats your favorite SNES game? Why? Etc?
Well I read it and thought "he's got it on ebay, just waiting for it to be delivered." Then why wouldn't he just say "acquired"? "Effectively acquired" implies he did something comparable enough to the real thing, though not quite exactly the real thing.Durananrananrananran said:Well I read it and thought "he's got it on ebay, just waiting for it to be delivered."
