If I may ask, would a Pokemon Trainer-type character be permitable, or would the summons go against the one character limit?

You mean switching between three different characters? To an extent, yes.

If the characters are pulls from different sources, nope. If the characters are actually linked, for example Sam & Max, that's okay.

The character I have in mind is the main character from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Demi-fiend. The Demi-fiend itself would stay out of the battle(except for his Final Smash) and instead people would have to deal with his summoned demons, much like how PT uses pokemon.

That's perfectly fine as a playable character!

But on the character selection screen it would be just Nocturne, since there's not much space for the fiends.

If you are using Photoshop you can put them behind Nocturne, fix their real sizes the demons have.

Yes, I'm using PhotoShop, I'll try that tomorrow and see how it works.

It'll be a new thread, that way it's easier to categorise/navigate through the suggestions for the game.

Welp, now that we've got a confirmed character list, now all we need to do is establish rivalries. Like, Koromaru vs Amaterasu, Yahtzee vs Jim Sterling, etc.

Oh, and I just realized I forgot to suggest a moveset for Silverbolt when I nominated him. Let's fix that:

Down Special - Transform. Like Sheik and Pokemon Trainer, Silverbolt has two forms: Robot and Wolf/Eagle.

Up Special - Claws opponent below him and zooms straight up. Same effect in both modes.

Neutral Special - Robot: Fires two feather missiles straight forward. Beast: Grabs close opponents in a bite for several hits, then tosses them.

Forward Special - Robot: Slices two times with feather-swords. Beast: Dashes forward quicky, damaging any in his path.

Final Smash - Robot: Temporary invulnerability, and all normal attacks release exploding feather-missiles in all directions. Beast: Temporary invulnerability, attack power increased, speed drastically increased.

Also, in robot mode, Silverbolt has multiple jumps (like Kirby), but in beast mode, he can glide (like Metaknight).

So where does Godzilla sit as he is the only one I'm wholly familiar with in the entire roster (I put him there after all).

Might I say that I'm disappointed that no one else had a similar line of thinking as any one of the hundreds of versions of Ultraman would have been fantastic for this. No I'm not changing my choice I'm just saying.

Well in my post I scaled him down to the size of Bowser in Smash Bros. Brawl I wouldn't actually let him be his normal 300+ foot height it wouldn't be fair for anyone else.

OT: People will probably think i'm weird for suggesting this after the Pokemon Marrying thread but- whatever lol.
I personally would like to choose Gardevoir as a character for this game!

This was the best one I could find of her. Anything else was either Rule 34 or placed boobs on her ok?

Her Special Move:

Magic Leaf - Levitates thousands of leafs and sends them flying into enemies. Since they're covered in telepathic energy, they do special damage in comparison with the regular razor leaf move.

Her Ultimate Move:

Black Hole: Using all of her psychic power, she will create a small black hole. It's in the Poke'dex of Pokemon X/Y. She'll only use it to protect her trainer though.

Okay I can't take it anymore, I have to say it, that is a really cute image.
