I am totally not developing a fake parody game of Super Smash Bros.

The last suggestion thread for this game was a huge success, I though I'd only get around 30 characters but instead got over 90 so I'm glad I guessed wrong.

Now it's time for stages. Last time some people didn't get all the rules so here's a list to make them clearer-

-The location can be from any franchise
-The location does not have to relate to any of the characters confirmed in the game
-It can be as simple or as complex as to what happens on the stage
-No set limit to the number of stages available in the game as of now
-You can choose up to 3 locations, they don't have to be from the same franchise
-Usable images for the Stage Selection Screen will help
-Not all the suggestions will be added, depending on how many I'll get
Final Punctuation [small]from Zero Punctuation[/small]
The only stage eligible for competitive play.

Rainbow Dash's House [small]from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic[/small]
The stage flies above all around Equestria with a changing background. Parts of the stage can collapse if to much hits are taken on them.

Phalanx [small]from Shadow of the Colossus[/small]
On the back of the tallest Colossus. Occasionally it spins round and you have to grab on to it to avoid falling off. At a certain time Phalanx burrows into the ground and the stage changes to the desert. The stage changes back to on Phalanx afterwards by it emerging out of the ground, the players have to be in the air at this time to avoid damage.

Trost [small]from Attack on Titan[/small]
It starts on top of the large walls at the edge of the district then eventually the Colossal Titan knocks it down, the players fall and the stage changes to on top of a building down below. Later a regular Titan appears and the players have to avoid being grabbed, eaten and insta-killed. The Titan is removed from the stage when randomly a character from the show comes from one side, kills it and speedily moves out the other side.

The four players, Neuromancer, SweetShark, Caramel Frappe and myself have already chosen a simple Versus game with regular rules, as you can see in the top-right corner on the navigation bar.

The players are allocated by green, red, purple and orange, which are on the left. We've all chosen our characters as well.

There's another place to do this, but once you've chosen a character here you can also click the icons next to their picture to read up a description about them and where they're from, see their records from all previous Versus games and display their movesets.

This is what we're working on now, at the moment only 4 stages have been added- your job to add more!


Super Smash Escapists will hit the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 1, 2DS, Neo Geo Pocket Colour, Virtual Boy, Super Nintoaster, Dreamcast, Wac, Puu, Puu U, OUYA 2, That Amazon Thing, iMat, GabenOS, Nokia Brick and Vaporware later this millennium.

Nice, I was hoping this thread would be out soon. Here is my suggestion:

[HEADING=2]Rapture (Bioshock)[/HEADING]​


The stage would be inside a high building with a large window looking out to the city below, there is leaks and pools of water in various places for the players to avoid. Splicers and the odd Big Daddy / Little Sister combo would spawn every now and again as hazards.

Okay, let's get some Pokemon up in here!





Featuring Norman in the background watching on the left side while his Slaking sleeps on the right side. Occasionally a Nidoking will appear and Norman will yell, causing Slaking to wake up and punch the Nidoking off screen. The stage itself is a simple flat battleground with the deathzones being the black walls of out of bounds. Good for one on ones and for people who love spamming projectiles in 4 player free for alls. Size of the stage should be medium.



Pokemon Meets Ewok Village.

Lots of opportunities to make platforms of tree houses scattered throughout the stage. This could be quite a large stage, with plenty of ledges and maybe some interesting things could be done with the bridges.[footnote]they could dip down, making people more difficult to target at range?[/footnote] The background should be filled with Flying Pokemon and residents of the town. Maybe cameos from all the Flying Type Gym Leaders would be appropriate! Lots of room for imagination here.

Where to begin... This one could definitely be the random level of the game. I'm thinking possibly one gimmick could be that the Trick Master appears, hits a light switch causing the stage to go black for 2 seconds before it reappears with an entirely new layout. The Trick house featured the movement panels from the Team Rocket HQ, trap doors, sliding walls, giant pits as well as buttons and levers to change things within the room.

This could almost be treated as a blank slate as the Trick Master always changed things up. I'm thinking for background imagery that only a constant colour palette and the presence of the Trick Master are required. Of course, the possibility of Pokemon running around is always a factor too.

Just one big request for this one. Don't use the anime version of the Trick Master. I don't like him. -.-

Mmm... decisions. How about;



There will be damage penalties for walking on the flowers.



Lots of jumping between building required in this stage.



Very destructible stage and random Creepers would spawn to cause havoc.

[HEADING=2]Miscarcand (The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion)[/HEADING]​
Battle takes place in Morimanth, at the heart of the ruined Ayleid city. Combat begins on the darker lower platform surrounding the raised pedestal. Undead denizens such as zombies and skeletons will spring to attack from hidden side rooms if pressure plates are triggered near the walls. After a certain time has passed, the stone slabs in front of the raised platform will rise to form a staircase, opening the path to the gleaming Great Welkynd Stone. It serves as a further trap that, if triggered, will spawn the King of Miscarcand [http://images.uesp.net/d/dc/OB-creature-King_of_Miscarcand.jpg] from a room at the end of the stage runway (northwestern corner of picture), a powerful spell-casting lich who circles the upper stage and will attack the nearest player. The pressure plate traps on the lower stage are also rendered useless at this point, as the walls slide open to continuously dispatch zombies and skeletons until the round is over. Now with each moment that passes without a victor, all combatants run the risk of the stage becoming their grave.

Ok this is somewhat cheating since there was a modded stage on it althought my idea of it is abit more detal (it was a simple stage). By the way this is Jhen Mohran-
The battle itself is simply on that sandboat with Jhen in the background however it can interact with the boat-

Jhen can slam right into the main bowl of the ship and to avoid it, the player must stand the higher part of the ship (left and right side) otherwise they will be smash out of the screen. This in turn will make Jehn backs a stage (in the game once Jhen was close, you can stand on its back) for only a few second before heading back to the sand.

Jhen can also hide into the sand and attack the front or rear part of the ship. If someone hit the gong on the ship, a spike appear from the ship and stop Jhen from diving into the front part of the ship but it cannot be done for the rear (again this was also part of th game).

Jhen can also appear in front of the screen blocking everyone vision momentary as its jump over the ship Free Willy style.
The Stage is simply the exterior of the house where player can fight on the ground floor and on top of the roofs. The characters from the show will appear each will have some effect to the stage like Pop will just fly in giving out candies or Skip skip in throwing out a smash ball while Modica and Riyby sai WOOOO while Bensen tell them to get back to work or they're fired.
A simply stage with the beach and some places will be higher platform. Sometime an item will drop from the sky or wash up on shore. Also players may seen something looming from the sky (anyone who had played the game will know how huge Bionis and Mechonis are!!

The City



Featuring The Tick and Arthur occasionally jumping/flying from skyscraper to skyscraper. Other cameos would be nice but one that absolutely MUST happen should be The Human Bullet flying into a building in the background.



Causing a big mess on the floor he lands in. Also the moon should only say "HA" and have a bite taken out of it, I was just too lazy to find the right image. Platforms, jumping from buildings, yadda yadda. I'd just be happy to have those cameos running in the background of The City...

You've already made me a happy cow by putting Die Fledermaus in. This would be the icing on the cake...

Yes. Yes you may.

I can add that to the list I already have for the menus before a match starts but it can also work in Final Punctuation. (Or whatever stage you want to put it in.)

To go with my character:



This shot is from the Dodgeball portion of the game's most unusual challenge. I would like for it to periodically challenge players to the different events as time goes on a la WarioWare, with the winner gaining the same sort of bonuses such as Giant or health recovery:

100M Dash: Screen scrolls to the right quickly. First to the finish line gets the bonus.
Long Jump: All fighters are launched into the air. Last to touch the ground gets the bonus.
Hurdle: Solid orange clanblocks begin to sail in from the right side of the screen, damaging whoever they hit. Whoever gets hit the least gains the bonus.
Dodgeball: A plethora of dodgeballs are dumped into the arena. First to hit someone with a dodgeball 3 times gets a bonus, though the balls also inflict minor damage like thrown objects do.
Quiz: Substitute for Math Fun. A True or False question is projected onto the scoreboard, with false being right side of the level and true being the left side. After 10 seconds everyone standing on the wrong side is shocked for 25% damage.

Aside from the various games it's a completely flat map without pits.

Okay. I'll limit it to two each for now.

Well, to go with my Madoka Magica character (And I tell you is extremely difficult choosing only two songs each considering how amazing the Madoka Magica soundtrack is.):

It was hard to choose just one, so I decided to just squeeze them all into one stage that constantly switches between each labyrinth, Castle Siege-style.

comprised of 5 areas, beginning, from top to bottom, in Gertrud's labyrinth, to Charlotte, to Elly, to Elsa, to finally Octavia. Each area has each witch serving as the stage hazard. Gertrud attacks with thorny, black vines. Charlotte starts out as a harmless doll [http://images.puella-magi.net/thumb/6/6f/Charlotte_initialform.jpg/800px-Charlotte_initialform.jpg?20110123091430] that can be punched and kick around, but attacking it too much will transform it into a large, caterpillar-like creature [http://images.puella-magi.net/d/db/Charlotte_and_bomb_that_blew_her_up.png?20110120205558] that will chomp at combatants, instantly KO-ing anyone near it, which works great for traps and such. Elly's area is made up of platforms (Which are TVs). Elsa's area is silhouetted, as are the combatants. Octavia attacks with her sword and large wheels that she sends out.




Starts off as a normal city, but with a giant floating witch (see above picture) destroying it, throwing building at the players and sending out familiars [http://images.puella-magi.net/8/80/Card_Walpurgis_minions.png?20110426143121] to attack them. by the end the city is in ruin, with players fighting on floating buildings.

Damn son, this is mightily impressive work.

To go with the Persona 4 characters, I suggest The Midnight Channel!


It would be a pretty standard flat stage, with the occasional interruptions from Teddie [http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Teddie] rolling through the arena who the characters have to dodge. Rise [http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Rise_Kujikawa] can be in the background, singing one of these theme tunes:

Tower of Babel- Catherine

The objective of this stage would be to continue climbing the tower while battling your opponents and dodging falling blocks and sheep men from above and trying to stay ahead of the evil Katherine/Catherine approaching from below. The tower itself should still have ice blocks/explosive blocks and cracked blocks that pose a threat to the character as well as various powerups like the life pillow and the powerups that let you create certain types of blocks.

It'd be like one of those moving stages you get in SSB where the background is constantly scrolling up and the stage keeps changing.

As a side note , I kinda wanna change my character choice to Vincent now. That'd be I kickass.

Pretty good work so far my man.
I have three suggestions for stages!

The obvious first choice for me would be the "Illusionary World" from Clannad.
A world where nothing exists other then the quick changing landscape, a girl and a robot.


As for Music.
This would work because ... well it is different and can be different to every person.


What can happen:
A stampede of sheep!
These weird sheep!


And nothing else happens, except the seasons change quickly and naturally.
Winter can hurt people intensely due to the cold.

Second one would be the cherry blossom hill that is very famous in Clannad too.
And because fighting on a hill would be cool.


And the music, more quick and urgent this time.


What can happen:
A storm of screen blinding cherry blossom petals.
And if the time changes overtime, student may come and go and knock some people.

And the final stage, which is not of my chosen character's series.

The Wasteland from Fallout 3 to be precise.



What can happen:
Uh ... it is Fallout 3. Many things can happens.
Deathclaws. (Instant kill as it moves through the stage and offscreen)
Raiders. (Bullets can fly until people kill them.)
Radiation. (Slowly adds damages, comes from the ground.)

There seems to be a lot to play with there.

OT: For my stage choices...


Considering I suggested Reshiram, I have to suggest this place as a stage. You would have Reshiram and Zekrom fighting as the stage hazard, and if Reshiram is a combatant, then it would just be Zekrom harassing players.


I guess the idea of two Smash Bros. regulars fighting as stage hazards sounds cool. Mario and Bowser would be in the backround, coming into the player's area once in a while using their different moves.

Well, since I suggested Jak, my first suggestion has to be Haven City.
Take your pick of any of these areas.






Second suggestion is Minecraft.
Pick a biome, any biome!
