Looks mean most the first five minutes, after that,it's all personality/intelligence.
But being me, I can be nice to anyone who is nice back. But I cannot date or find someone attractive ever, no matter how nice they are, if I just DO NOT find them attractive at all.

Ugly Stupid = Hell no

Ugly Average = No

Ugly Friggin Genius = Friends

Average Stupid = Hell No

Average Average = Depends how average in each case.

Average Friggin Genius = Definietly.

Beautiful Stupid = Hell no

Beautiful Average = Yes

Beautiful Friggin Genius = Definetly

In short, I will never date a stupid person because I just can't prevent myself from stabbing them. And I don't date ugly people because, if we're going to be honest, I don't find them attractive and humans are kind of shallow. As long as the woman in question though is neither stupid or ugly, I'd consider it.

Picking relations by category though is inherently flawed. I know an example of a beautiful genius girl like the kind refferenced above and I wouldn't date her, for reasons that have nothing to do with either category in question.

In short, I advocate examining each potential girlfriend on a case by case basis.

I think there is a distinction to be made between a person who is beautiful and a person who has interesting features. It is possible for Standard Hollywood Beautiful to be very visually bland.

Yeah, I agree. The whole barbie doll cheerleader look really doesn't do much for me. I prefer my women to be distinguishable in a crowd. Interesting features or a unique look are far more attractive.

I merely put 'Beautiful' because the OP seems to indicate we are supposed to view the issue from the most simplistic perspective possible. And like I say in my earlier post, I really don't think there is any way to categorize who you would and wouldn't date. It all depends on the person and the situation.
