I've always thought that Sim City could do with random zombie outbreaks to go alongside all the other disasters. Although I haven't touched a Sim City game in a while so maybe it does now.

Hmm... Just Cause 2 with Zombies.
While I kinda like the idea, it wouldn't really work for me. Without enemies shooting back at you there is no challenge in fighting. Without people to drive cars there is no thrill in joyriding. Without people screaming and fleeing in terror from you there is no sadistic glee in the destruction. I have no problem with zombies but in Just Cause 2 it would just make the whole game boring.

Actually, I like the idea. Just for Halloween, one day, just put a zombie apocalypse in an MMO, and the game only returns to normal once all zombies are dead, or they keep spreading. That would be awesome.

They did that in City of Heroes for the Halloween event one year. It was pretty fun, and as a temporary event it was easy to avoid if you didn't care for it.

Yeah, WoW had a Zombie type event during the time prior to the release of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, a ghoul invasion or something like that if I remember correctly.
