... Never? I don't judge anything until I have experienced it.

Next on my list, heroin. Finding a dealer is hard :/

Mass effect for me. I was not sure if I wanted to have a game that was mostly about me deciding things.

Yeah, WoW. I was a late starter (not been playing for a year yet), always playing Guild Wars or something similar. My missus played it, gave it to me with all expansions for Christmas, and it's actually really good.

If you don't like it though, that's fine. I can see why certain people don't
Yeah. I was an EQ fan, and was WoW-resistant (I still think the first Blizz MMO shoulda been Diablo-based), but I didn't want to jump to EQ2, either. So, at the badgering of friends, I try the WoW free trial and find it kinda fun. At the same time - in the midst of the incredible buzz for the new kid on the block - Sony bumps up the monthly fee for EQ by $3. Freaking marketing genuises. That sealed EQ's fate for me. I kinda switched outta spite, but never regretted my choice.

Bioshock infinite, I have a deep love for the series, which is why I wanted it to end before it colapsed. So when I saw infinite and how drasticly they changed everything from the previous games, I was against it, now that I've seen the game in action, I'm excited.

Mount & Blade.

I played the demo once and decided it was far too hard after getting my ass kicked repeatedly.

Then I found the game going cheap in a local shop and bought it, and was I ever glad. It's one of my favourite RPGs.
Sorry to derail you a bit, but did Mount & Blade's combat ever get easier? Or did it ultimately become a battle of accumulating better gear & more men?

Personally the game I was most surprised by was LittleBigPlanet. It came with the PS3 I bought this past June, and I was expecting it to be generic platforming. To my surprise, the game had a lot of charm and style. I was really impressed by how much detail went into it.

Just Cause 2 is my personal experience. My imoressions of the first one were very poor while I watched a friend play it. The lack of coherent physics, the main character, the overall feeling of it being a sandbox crime game left me cold. But one day in a pique of insanity I noticed the demo for JC2 on XBLA. I was bored, had no other games I fealt like playing so I thought I'd download it to kill 10 minutes, and maybe have a chuckle at it's expense.

That was the most I had ever played a demo. I bought the game at the next opportunity I had.

50 hours in, I'm still playing it.

Yeah. It turns out a rusty knife isn't very good for fighting soldiers. Once you get a proper claymore, things get fun.

Hmm... Just Cause 2.

I didn't like the first one.

Not one bit.

The second was much more fun. It was a GTA clone that was better than any GTA game I had ever played.

Deus Ex (yes I went there), but only because I played my Dad's copy when I was oh so little and didn't understand it at all. Now that I am significantly more mature, I recognise it for the gaming masterpiece it is.

I think you are potentially the most sedate person on the entire internet.
I wish, I just end up releasing all of the anger on the Religion and Politics forum, so I can discuss games with normal, calm people :)
