With the way Steam gets random entries of the Final Fantasy non MMO games (seriously, dropping FF8 and FF3 with no warning and topping Steam Charts for a week each time) expect a random re-release of Metal Gear Solid sometime a year after whenever MGSV gets released on Steam.
