I won a metal band's beanie from my local newspaper once... But I think it's because I was the only one who entered...

My luck is also lacking somewhat...
This. I entered a model rocket "contest" back in 7th or 8th grade, and since I was the only one who entered, won some special model rocket. But as it was already pre-made, my dad an I didn't feel bad about blowing it up. Sure, we launched it with the right type of engine the first time, as well as doing the same with the winning rocket, but then we switched the engines with much more fun results. The winning one blew its engine compartment out, and the prize one crashed into a heap.

i won a few things at a raffle once when i was still in the boy scouts. (cub scouts actually) any way it was a all day raffle thing at one of our events. Most of the stuff was pretty much junk but i did win it.

I won a couple graphic design contests and had my work being used by local companies.

And the occasional "won a free coke" under those caps.

I think I won about £100 on the premium bonds once. That's about it really.

Nice statuette by the way.

Hm...

I've won a couple of things before. Most recently, L4D2.
Jealousy. It's what I feel. how did you swing that? Hope you dig the game.
I entered in machinima.com's L4D2 contest.

I won a deck of cards when I was a young'un for memorizing the first 100 numbers of Pi.

I really wanted to play cards with people...

I won tickets to a blink-182 concert because I knew the lyrics to the party song a few years back.

I have yet to win a single thing in a contest. I wish I had better luck, not just in contest, but life in general.

I won a $500 dollar print of a painting, it was on a cruise. I can't say I was pleased, I never really enjoyed paintings and I would rather have an original of Salvador Dali's Interpretation of the Divine Comedy. But no such luck there.

That's the most expensive prize I ever won, the one that meant most to me? A balloon. Me and that balloon, we went everywhere man... and... it deflated. I... I don't want to talk about anymore...

I never win anything. My little brother on the other-hand wins a freaking barbecue grill because he wanted a balloon.
He had been somewhere with my mom(I forget where) and you needed to buy a lottery ticket for to get a free balloon.
Turns out he won.

I once won some stickers from K-Zone magazine when I was younger for accidentally predicting Trelawnley's first prophecy.
Sadly, it's the only thing I've ever won.

I once won three basketball Jerseys in one day. Bottle caps on mountain dew bottles were giving them away. I got three in a row. With astronomical odds... like... turning air into gold.
I call Watchmen reference.

I won a $25 gift card to Toys R Us in the fourth grade during a 'guess the shells in the jar' contest (My guess- 105. Actual number- very close). I almost got second place because someone guessed the same as me, but they drew my slip first.

Let's see...

I also won a logic puzzle during church camp and got a note book, and I won a couple contests on a site that ended in prizes worth like, ten bucks. And a small chocolate cake in a cake walk in the third grade. (I still remember being ticked at how dry it was.)

I also was a runner-up in a Deviant Art contest with an eleven-part entry based on the Portal soundtrack I wrote while hyper from too much Cherry Coke... it was a big contest. -shrug-

I won a twenty dollar gift card for saying my dad works in Insurance when he worked in loans. It was fun. It was a writing competition at the bank about something in it, and that's what i wrote about.

Oh, sure I won some contests, not that it was really worth it.
For instance, paying 5 Euros for a lottery ticket and winning(Drum roll...) a teddybear.
An ugly, purple, idiotic looking teddybear with a height of 1 meter.
The Annual Fire-In-A-Barrel never burnt so good.
