Hey Escapist, for my college assignment I need to gather some information about what experiences you've had with EA. Its nothing complicated just 9 questions about its servers and customer service as well as how there games have worked for you. Considering this is a centre of gaming I thought this would be a good place to get a varied view.

Thank you advance, sorry if their any spelling mistakes.

Just on this, I'm curious about the age brackets - they seem VERY odd.

13-16 - 3 years
17-21 - 4 years
22-30 - 8 years

.....then.....

31-50 - 19 years?

It wouldn't be so bad, but that age range has the most variables in it. It seems an odd cut off point baring in mind those aged 31-35ish were the generation of "16 bit golden gaming", when EA hit the scene big time with many Megadrive titles such as John Maddens, FIFA & Desert Strike, and those aged 50 may not have even played Space Invaders.

No big deal like, just wondered lol.
The reasoning being is the difference in gaming generations, because its such a fast moving industry different age groups have different memories. It's also to do with age mentality and it's interesting to see how age factors into the experiences that people have.

But then why that huge 31-50 grouping? It seems like you'd miss a lot of distinctions within that group.

Nearly every 31-35 y/o I know games with their friends or their children, whereas those pushing 40 rarely touch them. Some of those pushing 50 would barely know how to turn a console on.
Eh, I think there are a good number of people in their early 40s who are still into gaming - plenty of people got into it during the 8-bit days of the 1980s and never left. If I were going to divide up those higher age groups, I'd put a dividing line closer to 45 than 35.
