Male

3. How often do you play videogames?
It varies. Typically speaking, I'll game at least a little while every day. That said, I don't watch TV. I play games instead.

4. What genres?
I prefer RPGs, RTS, TBS, and tactics. I occasionally play FPSs.

5. Have games ever made you angry when playing them? (ex. Rage quit, swearing)
Rarely. With RTS, TBS, and tactics games, I can usually recover, given time. RPGs just end in me swapping to grinding for a little while before I go into combat again.

6. Have games ever made you physically violent when playing them? (ex. harming the controller)
No. The games I play are far more cerebral than physical.

7. Have games ever made you angry when not playing them? (ex. thinking about them affected your actions)
Sort...of? Not angry, per se, but I've noticed an increase in my ability to multi-task since picking up the RTS genre.

8. Have games ever made you physically violent when not playing them? (ex. thinking of them affected your actions)
See my response for #6.

9. How often do you engage in violent behavior?
Almost never. I'm not a violent person.

Thank you very much!
1. 18
2. Male
3. Quite often; 3-5 hours a day on weekdays
4. Umm... all genres; I just don't do Pokemon; CoD; Halo; Rock Band; Guitar Hero; Smash Bros; Mario Kart... actually thinking about it; I hate most mainstream console/nintendo games... nothing personal they're just bad and hype
5. no- it's just a game and if it makes you mad you have a problem
6. I've hurt the other person for being a pansy dick and breaking my controler just because I owned them in a game (they said "DUDE YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO KILL ME YOU KILL THE COMPUTERS!!!" ...please note it was an FFA match)
7. no- I have a life
8. no- no I have... dang I don't know... I have a brain?
9. When people forget their place; i.e. when someone acts better then me, I quickly show them how wrong they are (this is in real life not videogame life)

-sorry if I seem like a jerk but I'm a person... and everyone around me is a total baby when it comes to games; they won't play because I'm too good, then when they do they whine about everything and hurt my stuff because I'm too good...

...yeah it's REALLY annoying... and I'm the only one that has never rage-quit a game; instead I get excited! **remembers playing IWBTG on "Very Hard" ...good times**

Thank you very much!
1. 15
2. male
3. too often
4. shooters, rpg's, rts', etc
5. i can't stand people who are annoying over xboxlive, so i rarely play multiplayer. as for single? messing up anju and kafei's quest in majora's mask pained me to no end.
6. really difficult bosses that i'll waste alot of time trying to defeat sometimes cause me to lose my cool and have to take a break from the game (this was years ago mind you, while i wouldn't say i'm fully mature at age 15, i'd say i'm more mature than what i was when younger)
7. not really, i might get frustrated, but not when i'm away from the game. not being able to get past the final bosses in metroid fusion would not anger me until i was dying countless times while playing metroid fusion.
8. as with 7, no. i rarely become physically aggressive anyways, and it the notion is silly for me to think about; i like video games, but getting caught at one part won't damper my day.
9. i don't. i play violent video games to blow off steam, so i don't have all those bottled up emotions.

1. almost 17
2. Male
3. Anywhere between 0 and 10 hours a day, depending on if it's the weekend and how much homework I have.
4. Shooters, RPGs, strategy (TBS and RTS), action/adventure
5. I swear some when the computer cheats.
6. The only time I've been physically violent was when I was playing AoM on medium in a random map against the AI. Three independent bots ganged up on me, I got pissed, and bashed my keyboard. The nubs that elevate the back were broken off, but that's it.
7. Empire: Total War really pisses me off, I spent a day getting it to work, and then it kept crashing. It's buggier than a bayou.
8. No
9. Once a year? Maybe? Does beating a punching bag count? Cause I've done that a few times when I needed to cool off.

1. Age: 22
2. Gender: Male
3. How often do you play videogames? I'm hardwired to my computer. (5-30 hours a week)
4. What genres? (MMO)RPG, RTS, FPS
5. Have games ever made you angry when playing them? (ex. Rage quit, swearing) RPG (due to internet/computer errors/crashes; seriously, my computer is lucky I haven't hit it with a baseball bat yet), FPS (I don't get violent just hyper and faux-Tourette Syndrome)
6. Have games ever made you physically violent when playing them? (ex. harming the controller) Nah. Just the occasional fist pump of victory or feet stomping/flailing of defeat.
7. Have games ever made you angry when not playing them? (ex. thinking about them affected your actions) Well...at one point I'd been playing Left4Dead so much with my roomates a montage of zombie-shooting was burned into my retinas. Actually that's not that violent but it was a negative side affect of too much gaming.
8. Have games ever made you physically violent when not playing them? (ex. thinking of them affected your actions) Nope.
9. How often do you engage in violent behavior? Outside of what I mentioned: never. I think I must have a rage singularity in my torso somewhere. Every time I get mad without a punching bag or something around logic reminds me of the consequences of rage-breaking things. I'd either have to buy a new thing or go to the hospital and neither are that appealing to me.
