3. Depends. Usually if I'm not in a dry spell for games, I can do 20+ hours a week. Right now, I'm going through GTA: San Andreas and playing that every hour that I can in between college work.
4. All genres except fighting, racing, and sports, but my favorites are RPGs and Shooters. Brawlers are good fun, too.
5. Not really. When I get frustrated over a game, I don't swear or ragequit. I'll gently set my controller down and go to Kongregate for a few flash games or watch something on Hulu.
6. Never! That's a fifty dollar controller there!
7. While thinking about them has never caused me anger, they have caused me to become airheaded.
8. Not once.
9. Depends on what you mean by violent. Does playfighting with a lover count? Probably not. If not, never. I'm not a violent person; more altruistic than I am aggresive. I'm a non-confrontational person.

1. Age:17
2. Gender: Female
3. How often do you play videogames? nearly everyday, couple of hours maybe
4. What genres? rpg, fps, action/adventure
5. Have games ever made you angry when playing them? definitely, if i had to compare it it would probably be like having to do a team assignment and then realising that everyone on the team is a useless douche. I've never ragequit, only rageplayed and I do swear a gratuitous amount when provoked.
6. Have games ever made you physically violent when playing them? I only harm couch cushions, controllers are expensive :p.
7. Have games ever made you angry when not playing them? Probably.
8. Have games ever made you physically violent when not playing them? I think I am generally more open to violence because I play games but I've never actually punched anyone or anything.
9. How often do you engage in violent behavior? I don't, if you can't solve your problems through discussion, organisation or compromise, you're not exactly very smart.

5. Yes. If you're already frustrated when you play a competitive game, you're bound to suck at it and become even more frustrated.
6. Once when I was doing a boss fight in a Runescape quest, and my connection went down. I died and lost all my shit. I yelled out the Swedish equivalent of "fuck" and punched the wall- but that's it.
7. I don't think so, although it's possible.
8. Haha, no.
9. If violent behavior is with the intention to hurt someone- then never. I obviously fool around a bit with my friends etc. but otherwise I try to stay clear of fights.

5.I feel Irritated if i can't finish a level, but i just suck it up and try harder, or lower difficulty. However, may i point out an observation? when i play games with a lot of swearing in it, i find myself swearing more in normal conversation. as in, when i was playing GTA4 i was swearing WAY more than i should have been, or normally do. i don't emulate violence though
6.You can't throw a keyboard, so.....no.
9.Not often enough. And i don't mean that in a sadistic way. it's just that fighting, in general, is a lot of fun, if you're doing it for entertainment. and while i DO believe that games actually SUBDUE the urge for violence, it's not the same thing.

3. Used to play every day, since I've got a girlfriend... Maybe once or twice a week.

4. All of them, including racing games. Oh wait, not all, I dislike sports games.

5. Swearing, hell yeah. The ending of PoP:T2T made me swear a lot... After about 30 times trying to beat the boss on the hardest mode, I finally beat him. Feels good.

6. No, but I have once considered throwing my controller out the window.. Didn't do it though, wasn't nearly pissed enough for that and what use would it have?

7. Affecting my actions, yes. But not in the harmful way, more in the way of how to find value in myself, to be more confident about myself.

8. No.

9. Does Kung Fu count as violent behaviour? Otherwise no. And I do Kung Fu sometimes with my brother, as a fun pastime.
