Surviving in the Supermarket!!!

O.K. me and my father were enjoying a dinner at Fridays when the topic of survival came up. We talked about how we would survive on deserted islands, in scoraching deserts and the poles. Though he came up with a rather intresting scenario. If you were stuck in a supermarket for 2-3 years and could only live in one isle which one would you choose. I thought of the diffrent isels only to realize the flaws in my choices. So I ask you which isle would you choose?

I guess I'd take the isle with a ton of junk food in it for ease of opening food and prepared food in general. Also, the sodas that are on the opposite side of the isle, allowing me to kick a hole through and get me some liquids.

Are the isles being restocked regularly? Because I'd definately take the vegetable/produce area, but obviously that's not going to last 2-3 years unless it's being restocked.

If that's not an option, then... well, I would say the frozen food isle, cause you'd get some variety, but if I had to stay in that isle I might not have a microwave...

Fine, probably the cleaning supplies isle, so that I have something to kill myself with... I don't want to spend 2-3 years in a fucking supermarket, nonetheless in just one isle.

If I didn't have the urge to drink, I suppose canned foods would be the best way to go to actually live.

canned food isle. Oh yeah i'm staying alive for all eternity with that volume of nom nom nomming to go through. Plus it lasts alot longer and most canned stuff in our country has ringpull tops on as well so no need for a tinopener. Plus the heinz spaghetti bolognese is in there. yum yum yum...

Canned food aisle, not only is canned food delicious but it keeps for ages and you can use the tough cans and materials they're made of to form makeshift tools.

Just be glad you and your father speak. I don't think I've ever spoken to mine about anything speculative and hypothetical without getting a sarcastic response.

Ah, so you went from isles to aisles, interesting. I'd live in the processed foods aisle e.g. salamis and cheeses. Plenty of amino acids and no need for apparatus to cook them!
