Heavy Rain, imo seems overrated and I hated how in some vids they compare it to God of War and Killzone 2, they're not even the same game genre! It looks like I'll play it for 1 playthrough and drop it, not even attempt to get any trophies although I'm a trophie/achievement whore. I think the best thing she has on her list (all of them are mediocre) is Alan Wake and that's not even my top 5. And yes I have read her comment about how she didn't consider the others because they lived up to their name, etc. But a top 5 shouldn't be what was presented great but what was developed great.

Honestly, Assassin's Creed 2 looks like the most fun game out of anything I saw at E3. It's gameplay demo wasn't hyped much, but man did it look ever so sweet. Ubisoft drastically improved on the original with a better setting and much, much better missions, while avoiding gimmicks. I just hope it's longer than the first was.

The only game that I'm looking forward to buy is Bioshock 2. Not too terribly impressed so far, but I'll give it a chance since the first one's story was so amazing. Most of the other impressive games at E3 I just don't own the system for, like God of War III (Loved the first two) and Heavy Rain (Bought its predecessor Indigo Prophecy and keep it for laughs). Oh Well. :|

I've been watching all of these with some interest, except AvP. Maybe with the new motion controls, AvP will be as fun in multiplayer as most FPS games aren't, for me. Here's hoping.

I'm quite surprised no one ever mentions Borderlands, oh well.

My top five are:
1 Mass Effect 2
2 Borderlands
3 Alan Wake
4 Halo Reach/ODST
5 Splinter Cell Conviction

I'm slightly suprised that you didn't list Eyepet up there. Guess you're becoming less predictable.

I was impartial to AVP previously, but now it actually sounds really cool.
You bring up a good point -- my choices were also based solely on games with which I got to spend some kind of time, either hands- or eyes-on. Thus, Eyepet wasn't in the running.

You think we're attractive? Awwwww *blushes*

Well, there isn't really a whole lot that I'm really excited for from E3 - all the stuff I'm looking forward to had been previously announced - Mass Effect 2, Brutal Legend, Dragon Age, Bioshock 2.

Project Natal, maybe? I'm really interested to see what they can do with it and to actually try it out myself.

Alan Wake is by far the most interesting game I've seen at E3. The long development doesn't disturb me. I'm a patient man. And it looks damn good.
Heavy Rain, Assassin's Creed 2, Brütal Legend and Last Guardian looked amazing too.

It's nice to see a couple original IP's between all those sequels.

Alan Wake sounds interesting. I haven't seen anything to match Eternal Darkness yet. And Heavy Rain wounds like a more interesting CSI game with a touch of creepy like Myst or Clocktower. I'll have to wait and see more. Afrika might be interesting...but if it is a game about photographing wildlife, why is the pic of a casino? Was that a screenshot from one of the other games? Ah well, at least there seems to be some contenders this year.

Yeah, that's from The Saboteur. That game looks pretty sweet - a WWII game that's not another derivative shooter.

Assassins Creed II - Looks like it is going to fix all the problems of its predecessor. Awesome bananas!

Shadow Complex - Oh yeah, it looks good... holy crap! This is for the XBLA? At this quality? This looks awesome!

Heavy Rain - Will follow this veeeeeeeeeeery closely

God of War III - Must I elaborate?

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - Awesome (decided to stop trying to explain my motivations)

Metal Gear Solid: Rising - Interesting...

Metroid: Other M - Yaaaay for darker Metroid

New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Looks like a hell of a lotta fun

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Yoooooooooooshiiiiiiiiii

Milo - We are going to have a twisted friendship

Scribblenauts - Keyboard Cat

The Saboteur - Sure its made by EA, but, whatever

No love for Dragon Age makes me a sad, sad, panda.

This "Alan Wake" you speak of sounds interesting.

Well, I'd want to see more of it but AvP remake should be good, the only good "horror"(I think it's more a thriller) movie/game.

I had never heard anything of The Saboteur before this, now I'm interested.
Of course AS2, but seeing the trailer and looped gameplay footage I probably woud have to upgrade alot.
