This is my first time posting on The Escapist, and first time posting on any forum for quite some time. However, I had an idea for a thread that I really hope hasn't been done because I found it quite entertaining. I realized today that my video game skills are directly tied to my real life skills. Case and point: I am terrible at sports and terrible at sports video games (with golf being the only exception to both of these). And as you all may know, having only 1 example of something TOTALLY makes it true. Therefore, I came up with a list of my skills, based on some of my favorite video games. Here are the top 10:
1) Saving a princess from a giant mutated turtle and his deranged children.
2) Running really fast and collecting gold rings while trying to stop an evil, obese doctor from turning woodland creatures into robots.
3) Infiltrating a government facility and stopping terrorists from launching nukes, while also destroying a giant robot.
4) Saving multiple worlds from various dooms, all of the worlds having various traits in common (chocobos, moogles, important people named Cid).
5) Capturing animals and other creatures and forcing them to fight to become a world (country?) champion.
6) Stopping a pharmaceutical company from wreaking biological terror on the world by killing zombies and playing "Moonlight Sonata."
7) Being a legitimate rock star and knowing how to play a guitar like a pro.
8) Killing shadow monsters with a giant key and the help of a duck and a dog.
9) Assassinating important people in ancient Italy with the help of Leonardo da Vinci.
10) Surviving in a post-apocalyptic environment.
