Swine Flu: Did you catch it?

I was wondering whether any of you fine people were adversley affected by the dreaded pig pox and secondly what happened to you?

Nothing happened to me though i reckon that was due to good exercise every night to keep my immune system up. My roommate (whos dislikes exercise because she has flat feet), on the other hand, was so under the weather i had to carry her to the local GP. (Thank Cthulhu it was round the block)

Nope, I didn't get swine flu, but I know a lot of people who did.

They had recall us from a school trip once because people had caught swines in my school. yaaayyy over-hyped diseases fail...

Maybe. I had a severe cough and cold around the time everyone was obsessing over swine flu, so it might've been that.

Honestly, I don't give a shit. Like I said around the time: I'm a healthy young man, a bit of flu isn't gonna kill me, it's nothing more than a minor inconvenience.

Yes. I did. It's essentially a really bad flu. I was absolutely miserable for 4 days.

No I didn't get it, and I did not get the shot either. I haven't gotten the flu in like 5 or six years.

I just did what my doctor told me years ago about washing, takeing vitamins, working out and staying healthy.

And I haven't gotten the flu, hell I haven't gotten the flu shot since I was 7.

Funnily enough I don't know... I was rather ill from the end of November last year through December and then early on in January I was really ill with flu-like symptoms. Still, I was able to get out of bed and get on with my day so I doubt it was swine flu. Either that or this scaremongering bullshit greatly exagerates it.

My dad was the only one in the family who got a shot and he got the flu. To be fair, he got the shot after he got sick. ^^

I'm not sure if I got it or not. I did get ill around that time but I didn't go to the doctor because the illness wasn't all that bad so I never found out what it was. Wasn't a big deal anyway, I got better after a couple weeks. No I never had the flu shot, almost no-one I know took it.

A few people I know got the Swine Flu. One guy nearly died from it, he was in emergency for a while but he got better. Most people I know just stayed home, bought tissues and whined on Facebook about their 7 day quarantine.
