Swine Flu: Did you catch it?

I had it but all it did was make me feel like shit for a week and a half and had a hard time breathing but Im fine now

Got it exam week, and had to make up 3 tests on the same day. Pretty miserable, obviously. Made me a lot weaker for a while, too.

But then again, my Constitution is legendarily good, about a 26 on a scale of 1-28.

Simple answer NO, mind you haven't even had a cold this Winter anyway, great suffer from a condition that is meant to have immune compromising potential and I never seem to get ill.

I caught the dreaded swine flu but my immune system curb stomped it do death in under a week. I'm glad I got it, it'll only make me stronger. Must feeeed.....mmmmmmmgggghhaaa

Got the shot for work and school. My town had enough cases of the virus to where half of one of the middle school's was out for a few days. A boy I shared a microphone with got it not two days after I, and several others, had used the microphone. So far, I haven't been sick.

Did I take the shot?
No.

Did my friends take the shot?
Yes.
Did any of them catch it?
Yes.

Holy god I'm sure there's a correlation there somewhere

OT: Didn't take the shot, didn't get Swine Flu

There's no definitive proof that the vaccine will give a person the flu - it's actually pretty impossible (shot has a dead virus, inhaler has a weakened virus). The shot won't take effect for around eight-ten days. If a person got the shot within that time period, they've just gotten a nice booster that won't do anything to help them. On the bright side, they're now an H1N1 fighting machine.

I had it. 5 days before handing in my Master Thesis. It really boosted my asthma into the worse afterward. And during I was not worth anything. luckily my parents came to look after me. Otherwise I wouldn't have got anything to eat for 2 or 3 days.

I remember the good times when it was menacing around. I was one of the few ones who came to school, everybody else was sick, and almost a week of school was called off, because there was just such a small amount of students in school.
