I was curious if there were many people here in this forum that played Kingdom of Loathing. I got a few of my friends into playing and even a teacher at my College plays now after my recommendation. I was hoping there were some other people here on the Escapist who could show their support for the game by sharing their experiences a build a little community, and maybe even get together in game. Who knows, we might get a few more people into it.

I'd be more than happy to friend anyone who leaves their name down bellow

If anyone ever needs a friend out there, look up Jitters Caffeine

Used to play it quite a bit a while back. I finished it with my main character though, so I pretty much stopped then.

I gave up on an old character a couple years back, but I started up again a few months ago and I'm on my third Ascension

I've been Turtle Taming since I don't know when. Proud member of Old CW's Germ-free clan, and hardcore oxygenarian addict.

Looking forward to the next round of Crimbo adventuring!

I'm working on the Wrong Place At The Wrong Time trophy, so I'm a Seal Clubbing fool right now. But my favorite class has ALWAYS been Turtle Tamer

ahh.. the kingdom of loathing! that takes me back. I got pretty far (I think) but never really managed to get to the naughty sorcerress. I got too caught-up in trophy hunting
...
and anyway I've always been a member of the glorious Pastamancer master race

You should check out the new "challenge paths" that you can do after you ascend. The Surprising Fist was the best by FAR. You couldn't use and weapons or off-hand items and all of the meat drops were miniscule at best, but you learned special "techniques" that MORE than made up for it.

I had a massive (several years) break from playing but I've been on and off recently, starting to get back into the flow. If you want to look me up I'm the same username as on here.

I played before, I beat the game once with a level 15 sauceror, but I didn't feel like playing after ascension.

"Sword and Martini" makes me think of how creative one might get if they were to make a fight scene featuring a character who could hold a fancy drinking vessel while doing swordplay.

They have new challenge paths you can take after ascension to make it a little more fun than just "play indefinately"
