You just described most anime series. I recently tried watching 'Fate Stay Night - Unlimited Blade Works' and i only tolerated it for it's nice animation and even that got old so i dropped it.

What do Asuna, Pink Haired Blacksmith, dangerously underage girl from SAO, his Own Sister and literally every female character Alfheim Online have in common. Yup, ever single one is lusting after the main character, Kirito. Let's not forget the openly pedophilic hospital nurse who makes open innuendo and excuses to touch the main character.
The female characters in Sword Art Online are a horrible cliche of what a lonely man would want in a woman. All of them are entirely devoted to him, would do anything for him and all want his 'D'.
What can I tell you, man? They all want that Kirito dick. Why? Well, beats me. It seems like the whole world revolves around him, for them. Also, the fact that he is pretty much the only male main character in the show doesnt really help things.

I quite liked Sword Art Online when I first watched it, but it is plagued with so many issues that I just had to drop it. I mean, Kirito was an asshole who always had to be the best, the constant time jumps in the SAO arc made me constantly wonder if I had accidentally missed an episode along the way, and the fact that it was so painfully cut short to make room for the silly Alfheim sparkle fairy arc really pissed me off. The fact that the show is called "Sword Art Online", but it is only actually set in Sword Art Online for a good half a season really irks me.

At least the art design was on point, though.
