Rena was engaged in a battle of her own as she faced a small group of bandits, roughly four or five. She was on the ground at the moment and didn't want to fly unless she had to. Her next action surprised the bandits, since she had just put her bow away, slinging it to her quiver for quick access later. Laughing, the bandits thought she would be an easy target. What they didn't see was the shimmering in her hands or her lips silently moving as she chanted an incantation. As soon as they were close, Rena lifted her arms into the air and said. "Go!" The words confused the bandits, but not for long as a large whirlwind began to form in front of Rena. As soon as it was full force, it launched out at them and picked them up one by one, tossing them at high speeds and heights. Four out of the five bandits were killed by the impact with the ground and the other had broken his legs and arms trying to land the wrong way. The whirlwind also continued towards another group, but they would have time to escape if they tried.

Aaron turned his attention to the bandits again, most of the fighting had died down already, the bandits were routed except a mere 5. Aaron wasn't finished yet, and he was even more angry that he let himself get caught off guard. He heard a bandit approaching from behind, without thinking he turned and created four stone slabs, teepee styled, that halted the bandit in mid stride and clasped around his throat. Aaron was shocked with himself, he almost never used earth magic, he found that the majority of geomancy didn't suit him and only pulled it out on occasion. Here he had done it on reaction. Aaron drew his hands together and the stone slabs began to crush his opponent, with a dismissive snap, the slabs crushed the bandits body, and simultaneously closed at the top, beheaded the poor bastard. Gore and blood splattered everywhere, covering the fallen corpses of his comrades. As Aaron turned around to see a bandit backing away slowly, the fear was clear in his eyes, the bandit dropped his weapon, turned and fled screaming. Aaron was past his rage, now he just felt cold. Aaron stomped his foot on the ground, causing two rocks to wrap around the bandits ankles. The bandit fell forward, his bones snapping and piercing right through his skin. Aaron walked forward slowly, pitiless, he held the palm of his hand out, a huge orb of ice growing. The screamed in pain and tried to crawl away. Aaron kicked him in the gut and rolled him over with his foot, backing away he said "This is what you deserve."

"Frozen orb" He said plainly, throwing the gathered ice in the air, it spun and caught the sun brilliantly, dazzling the ground with light. Hundreds of ice razor sharp ice shards shot out from the orb, turning the bandit into a pincushion. Aaron turned and stalked away looking for more opponents.

Henry found himself idly watching the battle, until two bandits charged at him from different sides. Felix squealed and dove into Henry's sleeve for protection, and Henry just sighed, half-annoyed and half-bored, ready for the battle to be over.

"Really, Felix? Not much of a guide, are ya?" he groaned, the smile dropping from his face as he saw both bandits draw swords from their sheaths and sprint towards him. He ducked, screwing up his eyes and projecting himself as a the guise of a bat perched on a stalactite hanging at the entrance to the cave, hanging upside down and feigning sleep, leaving him invisible and ready for a surprise attack.

The bandits stopped dead in their tracks, holding their swords aloft, having lost track of their prey.

"You probably think I changed into that bat over there," Henry laughed, his voice echoing and coming from seemingly nowhere. "But, the bat is just an optical illusion, you know? I'm actually still standing..."

The bat disappeared and Henry leaped up from his ducking position and seized hold of both swords while the bandits were still caught unaware, staring at the cavern where the bat had disappeared from.

"Right..." Henry continued, thrusting the sword into one of the bandits, pinning him to the wall, as blood dripped down the rocks.

"Here!" he finished, wheeling around and gashing the other bandit open with a wild slash, before launching a carefully aimed kick to his chest, knocking the bandit into the same wall as his ally with a sickening crunch.

Henry brushed off his shoulders and nonchalantly dusted himself off with an air of bravado and sky-high confidence.

"So. What now, guys?"

"Now we ask this gentleman a few questions" Malyc said in a threatening tone, as he stood over the bandit Rena injured.

"Now, you WILL tell us where your leader is, and how many more of you are in there. If you cooperate, I MIGHT not have to hurt you."

The bandit looked over at the aquean that stood above him. He knew that he wouldn't be able to fight back but he was determined to not give them any information. "Fuck you!" The bandit said spitting in the aqueans face.

Henry wandered over to Sorael, who was busy examining the fallout from the skirmish.

"Look, Sorael, this might not be the best time, but Malyc captured a bandit and he's probably going to interrogate him. He's over there," Henry pointed out, bouncing up and down on his heels with nervous energy.

"And since Malyc is probably better suited to hack-and-slash his way to some answers, I suggest you send me over to smooth-talk some information out of him before all that's left of the guy is a few carved up arms and legs. Sound like a good plan to you, captain?"

Henry looked at Sorael eagerly for direction, who, as always, looked stern and somewhat irked that his squad was running around without following orders.

Sorael looked over to malyc and noticed that he indeed captured a bandit. "That's fine, just let me know when you're done with him." Sorael responded while wiping the blood off of his spear.

Aaron shook his head as he watched the bandit spit in Malyc's face. "Bad move," Aaron shake shaking his head and tutting like he was talking down to a child. "Pick him up Malyc," Malyc obliged, and Aaron turned to the earth, concentrating. Slowly the spikes slid up from the ground, every where from an inch to a centimeter in length. The spikes were steel and sharpened to a razor point.

"Do what comes naturally" Aaron said to Malyc

"Are you gonna answer the questions now?" Malyc asked as he forcefully shoved the bandit onto the spikes. "Or am I going to have to get physical?"

Malyc leaned just a bit harder on the bandit's chest, to get the point across.

The bandit felt the pain of the spikes digging into his back, it felt like if his body was on fire. The bandit cringed from pain but would not be broken so easily. "Wow you guys must be weak, this hardly hurts at all." The bandit said defiantly.

"Tough guy huh?" Aaron said, planting his foot firmly on the bandits chest, lengthening the spikes slightly while forcing him down. "We'll see how long that lasts." Aaron deliberately reached over the bandit, putting more weight down on him, and drew a large shaft of metal from the earth, the whisper hiss of earth on metal ringing a mere inch from the bandit's ear. Aaron shaped the tool into a short club, giving it spikes and barbs. "Hey Malyc, I have a gift for you" He said tossing the club over to him, "Go nuts."

Malyc grabbed the club and gave the bandit an evil grin. "I'm going to have fun with this"

Malyc knew that the bandit wasn't going to need his legs anytime soon, so that was where he started. Feeling the balance of the club, Malyc proceeded to pin the bandit's leg even more firmly to the bed of spikes.

"Sure you don't want to answer?" He asked, as he wiped the blood spatter off his face.

The bandit was starting to lose his spirit as the pain from the spikes was too much for him to handle and his spirit started to fade. "Fine fine I"ll tell you anything you want to know. But I won't talk to you two, I'll only talk to someone else." The bandit said finally relenting.

Henry rushed over to see Malyc and Aaron trying to torture the information out of the bandit.

"Whoa, whoa! You guys are doing it all wrong. Let a professional handle this, will ya?"

He walked over to the bandit, smiling.

"Hey! I'm Henry. And unless you want my two friends here to keep going at it, you'll be talking to me."

Felix chimed in indignantly.

"And Felix here too, I suppose."

Rena had been flying overhead to keep a watch for more bandits but upon seeing that the coast was relatively clear for now, she giggled and flew over to the interrogation site before pouting and saying. "Heey! I wanted to integrate him!" She obviously meant 'interrogate', but she stumbled over the word. Looking to Henry, who seemed to have taken charge, she asked. "Can I help? Please please?"

"Sure thing, Rena," Henry conceded. "Two is always better than one, right?"

Henry pondered for a split second before adding, "But no tricks! This is serious."

Rena pouted a little bit from his lack of faith. "I'm not all about tricks you know! I can be a serious integrater too!"

"In-terr-o-gat-or," Henry laughed. "And if you're so sure of yourself, I'll give you the first crack at him!"

Henry stepped out of the way to watch Rena work her magic on the incapacitated bandit.

Rena blinked when he corrected her pronunciation of the word interrogator. Realizing she had been saying it wrong, she giggled and said. "Ah, that was the word I was looking for!" She nodded her head before going over to the bandit and saying. "Hiya! My name's Rena and I'm gonna be your int..integ..interrogator! That's the word!" After giggling a little bit, she continued. "So, wanna tell us all you know? I know something fun if you don't wanna tell me."
