I hope they will do a good job on this one. I myself cannot wait to try this out!
Now they only need give us the multiple endings that "system shock 2" took away. :(

Again, I can't express my excitement in words over how bloody happy I am right now about these news, ohhhboy.
Cheers.

It's definitely an exciting prospect. Let's just hope it can capture that desperate, cutthroat survivalism that made 2 so good. Modern games have a bad habit of being too easy, and that's unacceptable for a system shock game.

There is no other game on the planet that I am looking forward to more than this. I am a huge fan of the System Shock franchise, and I am as giddy as giddy can be about this. The world needs this game. The world deserves this game. The world deserves more of SHODAN, who is my absolute favourite video game character. A character that is as terrifying, manipulative, and malevolent as can be. It's great that Terri Brosius is reprising the role. Thank you. Thank you so much for this.
Forever the true voice of Shodan. I don't know if it would be the same without her. It would be like Legacy of Kain without their original voice actors, it would take away an important part of the characters.

SHODAN is amazing, but if they're seriously bringing her back again that's some lazy shit. I mean, I liked Hans Gruber but they didn't just unearth him for each new Die Hard.

Actually scratch that, resurrecting Gruber probably would have improved the later Die Hards. Bad example.

Oh I know. It's just...SHODAN was cool because SHODAN was fresh and original and unique. Running her into the ground isn't going to help anything. Twice was plenty. Make a new villain!

I definitely hope this would succeed, but given the track record for revivals of old 90's PC franchises, I'm not holding my breath yet. Though if they do stay faithful to the punishing and complex mechanics, I'd think the crowd that loved Dark Souls (that includes me) would definitely get a kick out of it.
