The Wire, The Wire, and maybe The Wire. Seriously, it's the best written show ever.

Ever.

Breaking Bad and Dexter are also good. I watched Rome and it was pretty good. True Blood is pretty weird, but a refreshing take on Vampires compared to most shows/movies.

I dislike pretty much everything Western TV has to offer with the exception of Top Gear and.. I think that's it. I liked the first few seasons of the X-Files, but that's in the past.

And before you start shouting Otaku.. I'm beating you to it.
Haha I'm pretty much the same as you. I'll watch some Western animated shows but the only live action show I'll watch is House.

I just enjoy anime more. :3

Canceled cable, got Netflix on my Wii, queue up old shows/movies that were good 'back in the day' = Better programming for free without commercials.

I mean come on, who can't love Rocco's Modern Life? 10X better than the cartoons they have these days.

I would say I don't like scheduled programming. There's nothing I particularly want to watch when I turn the TV on.

That said awesome TV shows do exist, you just have to watch them on your own terms and schedule

E.g. Carnivale, Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, True Blood, Dexter, The Wire, The Sopranos, Futurama, The Big Bang Theory, South Park etc.

Well as bad as some TV is there are shows on that I like to watch. For example Chuck is very good and I have gotten quite a few people hooked on it (including my math teacher). Also Castle, The Big Bang Theory, I like it but I never have time to watch House, I don't know if it's still doing new episodes but Criminal Minds is a good show. Those shows aside I am very excited for Game of Thrones, I have made it my mission in life to get as many people hooked on the books and spread the news of the show to all corners of the internets.
Seconded. But such as small list of good shows on a wide range of the shit out there.
But you see my friend those shows fill up my night and my days consist of watching my favorite liberal propaganda on MSNBC and the rest of the time is spent on the internet.

Also I forgot The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.
Now go read A Game of Thrones.

Gundam on Toonami (God I miss Toonami), as for all the cartoon networks going "Real" most channels have nothing good to watch (Aside from USA, Spike, Discovery, & G4)

I usually watch the anime and Robot Chicken that Adult Swim shows. I love The Simpsons and Family Guy. I heard a rumor that Robot Chicken will start their new season in December. Hopefully, it is true. The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and the new episodes of Futurama are all pretty good too.

I used to watch X-Play, Judgment Day, and Cheat all the time but when G4 started to aim the shows more in the direction of everybody instead of just gamers is when I lost interest. What really made hate G4 is when they started to air the shows Cops and Cheaters.

I don;t get how you can watch Tosh.0. Daniel Tosh makes Dane Cook look like the best comedian of all time

Back in the 90's i miss when Cartoons had no political correctness and no one really tried that hard to pander to the kiddies.
Nope, instead the cartoons were strictly regulated by "Please, think of the children!"-neurotics.

Top Gear, Doctor Who, Futurama, Phineas and Ferb, House, Family Guy, Many Documentary's, Lock n Load with R lee Emery, DogFights, Monsterquest, Destination Truth, and if you want a show reminiscent of Invader Zim, with thec raziness factor then Adventure time, God that show is just pure fun.

All these shows are kick-ass in one way or another.

there are gems within the dirt.
