Punching the nearest wall, and/or just let it wear off. Music also helps.

I don't even think of playing a game when angry though, it just doesn't work at all for me.

I find archery helps quite a bit. Cause you're concentrating on hitting the target and you can imagine whatevers pissed you off standing in front of it.

If not archery, I'll pop next door to my mates room and we'll just sit, chat and play something mellowing like runescape.

My keyboard now has several teeth marks on it, I take my anger out on that.

Depends, if I'm really pissed, nothing helps. Music won't, gaming won't, hitting inanimate objects won't, nothing does. I just need to get away from the source of anger (that kind of super-anger usually comes from dad) really quickly before bad things happen, and just cool off.

Normal anger, just being pissed, usually fixed by doing something very aggressive to vent it (L4D2, listening to NIN or Muse, watching Watchmen) or something extremely calm (listening to the Braid soundtrack, playing World of Goo, read Dune) to relax and calm down.

Games calm people down?
L4D2, Easy, pump action shotgun, fire axe/machete/dual pistols and Don't Stop Me Now from Queen. Believe me, that combination works wonders against any kind of rage, especially gaming rage, actually.

*bookmarks* However, not being able to find the last one is started to create it's own rage. Edit: Oh it's the coathanger! Sneaky.

A good laugh usually calms me down. I try to laugh so much that I forget about what I'm angry about or I can just laugh at that and make it seem insignificant.

I'm always in a better mood afterwards. :D

Sometimes I just rage and pick up the PS2-controller, since my PS2 doesn't work and I throw it in the wall, it seems fairly unbreakable.
That or I go to my room and play metal at high volume.

Relaxed music. I have soothing music while I blast people in team fortress 2. I used to think aggressive music helped, but it just makes me jittery.

Play the guitar, write furiously fast for an hour. One or the other of these calms me down. (Sometimes gaming as well, but gaming can itself be a cause for this stress. Guitar has never let me down yet.)

They usually hurt my hands, the bastards.
I used to do this too... until i punched through by bedroom wall in to my flatmates bedroom. While she was napping. Damn she got angry.

Now i find music or a workout session really helps. Sparring with someone else will work out almost any anger. Hanging out with friends usually works too. If all else fails just smoke a joint.
