1. EA
2. Neuter the greedy and anti-consumer practices. Focus on delivering the best, not just the most profitable.

I would come out with a game console that had graphics on-par with next-gen, keep the gimmick-peripherals sold seprately, and just crank out new Zelda and Mario games and make millions of dollars until the cows came home

Take over Square Enix.

1. Get Final Fantasy XV a god damn release date.
2. Work on Kingdom Hearts III and ensure it does not end up in development hell like the above title
3. Final Fantasy XII HD remaster
4. Announce that we are willing to work on a Final Fantasy VII remake and begin open discussions with the community and fans over how they would the game to be handled.
5. No more Final Fantasy MMO's

I can't think of how many more adjustments the company needs right now. Probably a lot.

Nintendo:

1) Get rid of the Stupid Youtuber Program and apologize for it on behalf of the Company
2) Begin work on a Gaming Tablet (not a new Handheld) and a new Console. The Console would be built similar to PC's and would have cheap components that are more powerful then the PS4, and would use Custom Flash Drives instead of Discs. The Tablet would be in HD and would use only downloadable Apps for their games. Intend to release the Consoles by November 2017
3) Buy several indie and small 3rd parties (Yacht Club, Playtonic Games, Doublefine, Harmonix, etc.)
4) Buy exclusives from bigger 3rd parties (Primarily from past and/or dead franchises), for the next Consoles
5) Expand: Create new studios in Japan, the USA, all through out Europe and even a new studio in India (Really, everyone looks at China as an important market where as India has the 2nd largest population in the world and not as many regulations on what can be shown there) with the intent to pump out at least one game a month from the company
6) A Year before the launch of the new Console and Tablet at E3, announce a Computer, Tablet and Nintendo Console App that allows people to play almost all of Nintendo's old games (from NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Gameboy, Virtual Boy, GBC and GBA) for a small monthly fee (I'm thinking $30 a month), with the name of Nintendo Colosseum (The NES Remix games can also be here). Announce both the new Tablet and Console immediately afterwards
7) Aggressively advertise the new Console (I'd call it the Nintendo Rex) and Tablet (Called the Gameboy Touch) on both TV and the Internet, banking on Nostalgia. Give the Consoles for free to important Youtube LPers with several games and give them games and allow them to play them whenever they feel like it for their channel. Create Internet Videos akin to Nintendo Power VHS's to promote upcoming games and Consoles. Leak stuff in low quality, grainy footage to get people hyped
8) Quietly kill off the WiiU and 3DS when the Rex and Gameboy Touch are announced
9) Increase the Hype (More advertisements, more leaks, more Nintendo Power VHS style promotions, maybe even contests) for the console at least 3 months before launch
10) Launch the Consoles on the Cheap (maybe even taking minor losses on both) and make Nintendo a fortune

I'd take over Gearbox and have them make Commander Keen Battle for the Universe, Civil War Generals 3, Duke Nukem 5 and have it bear some vague resemblance to the description of Duke Nukem Forever given back in 90's. I'd also have them do a classic Dr. Who FPS because I'm weird. All these games would have minimal advertising and would rely on the internet and fanboyism to spread the word that they were out. Gearbox is awesome at marketing and terrible at game production, so it's time to switch things up!

1)EA

2a)Let developers make the games they want to make (within reason, of course) and not have them add in half-assed and tacked-on modes and features just to gain a bit more chash, like with Mass Effect 3's multiplayer (if I may go off on a rant for a bit, what the f#ck was up with ME3's multiplayer? ME2 sold 5 million for Christ sakes, 5 MILLION for an exclusively SINGLEPLAYER game where did they get the idea they had to add that for the next game?).
b) Give the games the company publishes a fair shot at being successful. The best example I know of from them is Alice: Madness Returns. It was probably not gonna sell gangbusters, but I'm confident it could have done better if EA didn't decide it was unprofitable before it shipped and give the game very little marketing, as well as making it hard to find. This is not an assumption I've made, one of the guys who worked on it said it was so himself.

EDIT: Before I retire, instantiate company laws that they may only produce ONE version of each Street Fighter game, and that all DLC must be free for one week after it is put up for sale.
The first version is never the good one, though. Third Strike is the third edition of Street Fighter 3, and Ultra is the best SF4 has ever been.

OT: Capcom of course, I'd make Dragon's Dogma 2, and a Megaman Battle Network mmo for PC with character / net navi customization and ranked pvp.

Then I'd make Devil May Cry 5, and give Nero from 4 some more game time.

Games Workshop (it's a game company, you didn't say it had to be video games).

1) Fire everyone from middle management and up.
2) Sell the company to Privateer Press on the conditions that they don't Warmachine-ify Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 and that they set a reasonable price model. And sell GW cheap.
3) Flip bird to the horrid former shareholders.
4) Enjoy the new, balanced, less leaky rules.
5) Flip bird to the former shareholders again.

Gas Powered Games

- Fire whoever the hell made Supreme Commander 2.
- Hire new, competent people.
- Make them re-do Supreme Commander 2, make it more like Forged Alliance, focus on the Factions, not individual members of each Faction. Make it an actual goddamned sequel, QAI is still, in fact, alive and has new directives. Return the economy back to how it was handled in the first game, re-instate Tech Tiers, maybe re-design the Tech Tree, give the Illuminate back their fucking navy, return torpedo defense turrets and other advance defenses, make Experimentals actually threatening again, return T2/T3 Shields.
- Make Supreme Commander expansion or 3rd game.
- Optionally, make a Seraphim campaign where you actually play as the Seraphim in the FA days, it won't be canon, but you can be there for the assault on Earth, fight the Coalition and defeat them, deceive, and ultimately destroy, Kael, that kind of thing. Give a little more info on just what the Seraphim are like. Have it take place in the beginning on the Seraphim home-world and then cross over into the FA story.

Mind if I second that, seriously the catharsis factor helps.

OT.
Company: Capcom.
1). Sell Mega-Man to either Nintendo or Comcept.
2). Develop a new Darkstalkers game.
3). Sell other unused properties in some kind auction.
Should any of these fail...I'll burn the ************ to the ground out of spite.

I'd take over Eidos Montreal, fire all the creative heads who worked on the newest Thief, and have them make another one.

No, actually, just as punishment for the people who were responsible, they all keep their same exact jobs, but they have to make Thief all over again, but better. Much better. They also have to play through the previous installments three times each.

Take over Valve:
Release Source Engine 3 with a new, more powerful Garry's Mod to market it and get the modders working early, after hiring/buying whoever I need to make that happen.

Develop Half Life 3, giving progress updates along the way, which also serve as a promotional piece for Source Engine 3 features.

Develop Left 4 Dead 3, see above.

No more crazy ideas about competing with Microsoft or whatever. Yeah, I'm sure Steam OS is going to take the business sector by storm.

Get rid of early access. Greenlight is fine, it lets devs market to gamers. But no cash-for-demo nonsense. Let the devs use their own site for that.

Try to buy some underserved AAA IPs. Can Steam do a Silent Hill game? Is there any reason to think it won't be way better than if current Konami was running the show? Get Kojima and Del Toro if possible. Hell, get Del Toro to design creatures for Left 4 Dead.

Finally, buy the Downhill Domination, Rollcage and Drakan IPs, to reboot them as my own passion projects. I will eventually fail, when my passion projects inevitably suck.
