A long standing writer of the pokemon series has died not long ago. He wrote most of the original series and was responsible for a lot of what we know about pokemon

How is it affecting you all?

He just wrote the script and story for the anime series. He was not the 'creator' of Pokemon. It's still sad news, don't get me wrong. But life goes on.

Actually, he stopped writing the stuff after the third movie (there are now...ten+, I believe?). In other words, he stopped juuust as it was hitting the "cash-in" status.

OT: Condolences to the family. I guess I stopped watching before he stopped writing for it, and I kind of enjoyed it.

Seriously, he has my condolences.

But will they end that damn series already? We are 500 episodes in and Ash must have circled the globe at least fucking twice by now and it shows no signs of stopping.
