That sounds... awful actually, the one thing Borderlands is not good for is story now you want to just do their story with Jack the 4chan troll, fuck that.

Telltale (known for making games I find not fun and not enjoyable) is making a Borderlands game? They are going to find some way to make the funniest and most action packed game series I have had the pleasure of playing in many years terrible? What did I do to them?

I guess my former tactic of ignore and let live is not going to work. I now hope some sort of Borderlands curse will unleash a mummy in their office, a mummy that eats programmers and deletes code. It's my only hope...

I'll probably just not get this game and wait for a proper Borderlands game to come along in a few years.

I actually have never fully played a season of a Telltale game (currently, I'm on the Wolf Among us, but my PS3 has been inactive for while) But I did adore the borderlands games, and what i've played of Wolf, I'm willing to give them the good going in.

Handsome Jack's reveal made me laugh, too. Great.

So basically it will involve a slightly different art style but with some point to lick areas and no doubt "special character development".

Nah I think I'll pass both on Borderlands as a franchise (especially after A:CM) and I'm not that interested in what TT has to offer since TWD game they made didn't exactly woo me like it did everyone here.

Telltale sure have got a lot on their plate at the moment, what with this, GoT, Walking Dead, AND Wolf Among Us. Hope it doesn't detract from the quality.

As for this particular game, I've never been all that interested in the Borderlands games, but I can see this working. Borderlands has a similar art-style to Telltale's usual style, and the setting is interesting enough for an adventure game, even if I didn't find what was done with it previously all that thrilling. Cautiously optimistic.

Now, as for the Game of Thrones thing they're doing, THAT has got me excited.

Might be good, but only if they keep Anthony Burch away from the writers desk. As much as I liked BL2, I found the writings over-reliance on LE EPIC REDDIT MAYMAYS to incredibly lazy and annoying.

Also, the game must open with brutal murder of Claptrap.

Um... Okay? I guess it'll be interesting, from at least a technical standpoint, to see how Telltale integrates the shooty-looty-grindy gameplay of Borderlands into their usual point-and-click comfort zone. Admittedly, the backdrop of Pandora was one of the few things I like about the Borderlands franchise, but I reserve judgement on how well it can hold up a game on its own merits. We'll see, I suppose.

Could be fun, but I feel like Telltale has bitten off more than they can chew. The Wolf Among Us, Walking Dead season 2, Game of Thrones and now this? Something is going to suffer down the line.

Color me curious. I like Borderlands 2, so maybe this will be something neat to look into.

Also, maybe there'll be loot, skins and heads attached to it.
