People griping about camping. IT'S A VALID TACTIC, PEOPLE.
The validity of the tactic isn't the problem. It's the fact that it hampers the progression, and the fun, of the match. If you and a few mates are playing a siege mission, and one or two decide to remain stationary and provide cover fire, ambush duty, etc., then it's not a big deal. But if it's a "mobile objective"-type match/mission, it's uncalled for, especially if your party could end up being curbstomped for it.

Was playing Rainbow Six Vegas on Terrorist Hunt with my friend the other day, and I left it as a public game. Eventually someone joins, which turns out to be some 12 year old CoD basher.

'Hey dudes follow me, I done all the CoD games on Veteran so I know what I'm doing'
Naturally me and my friend ignored him and went a different way and he got his head blown off by a Spas 12.
This kid then literally flips out and starts going crazy and calls me all kinds of crazy stuff. I laughed before swiftly booting him out of the game.
Hehehe... serves 'em right. To not know the difference between CoD & an actual "hard" tactical shooter, & "adjust" his gameplay style accordingly, means he pretty much deserved to get splattered into giblets on the wall.

I've had the displeasure of running into douchebags online recently. I loathe those "pro"-wannabe, self-righteous, absolute hack players who think it's 1337 to spam stunlocking / unblockable / infinite combo attack loops in crossover fighting games (looking @ you, Marvel vs. Capcom 2). I can understand the gamers who truly have a mastery, and appreciation, of fighting games, and generally are more capable beyond those exploitative tactics. What I can't accept are the showoffs... the cuntbuckets who ALWAYS, WITHOUT FAIL, chose the same set of "god" and high-tier characters (usually between 6-10, out of a total of like 50 chars) over & over again, that the opponent would have to take a similar, if not identical char setup to have a prayer of opposing. Then, to add insult to injury, the offending twat usually trolls and harasses whoever's playing scoreboard matches that day with their "god-char setup". Seriously, keep that shit in tournament-level and/or exhibition play.

I love how everyone's saying "noob-toobers" and such.

Using features implemented in the game != Being a douchebag.
I don't even play these games and even I can see how stupid that is. Just because they manage to kill you in the game doesn't make them bad people.
Noob-Tubes are no talent weapons that take the fun out of the game and cheapen the experience. If you disagree, give it a shot. Otherwise don't talk about something you didn't experience. You'll complain when it happens to you too.
I love the noob tube because it is a real challenge to fight against, now that they have been nerfed in Bad Company 2 not only have the noob-tubers I usually have to outsmart disappeared, I now have little incentive to use it myself. Same way I love campers and being one. It keeps you alive like in real life. The counter argument is that it slows down the game, my counter argument is use your brains to outsmart or outmaneuver them. Since I have personally experienced this and see not only its real life value but its entertainment value I feel I am entitled to my opinion. Even if you do not agree with me, I am OK with that as long as you are polite about it.

Yeah I was a bit on a war path when I typed that msg out because someone was running around on MW2 with the javelin missile. Every time he died so did everyone else in like a half mile radius. Suffice to say I was more than agitated. I already apologized to DuplicateValue for being an ass.
