So what. Anything that has a button that can be set to an electrical pulse can be used as a detonator.
Exactly. I saw an ADVERT for the British military with them using an Xbox controller to move a flying spy camera. This is nothing out of the ordinary.
Yeah it's not just something they made up for the adverteither. I'm related to one of the people who uses stealth drones in Afganista and they do use a 360 controller to guide it when in the field.

I heard this in 2002! This is not news. (Yes I checked the date on the article)

Edit: It was with Original Playstation Controllers at the time though.

I can't come up with a "press X to not die" joke right now. But someone should.
Press X to make the world safe for theocracy/ get 72 virgins in paradise?

I kid, I kid.

Anyhow, making a joke about the dogmatic nature of console fanboys - or any fanboys - is almost too obvious, so I'll just make a snide, smug, self-serving comment about the clear superiority of PC games.
Wouldn't an Al Qaeda video game go:

"You Died... congratulations, you won the game!"
You won

virgins

Congratulations! You beat your highscore!

Well that makes sense, since the British Army uses X-Box 360 controllers.

Some may call the console war petty, but for a long time it's actually been the battle of Good vs. Evil on an international scale.

Don't worry, our troops are fighting hard to wipe out all traces of those extremist Sony fanyboys from Afghanistan.
I'm guessing the French are using Wiimotes?
Nobody cares about the French or the Wii, neither of them are relevant!
Its a sad state of affairs when the French army blame not investing in Wii Motion Plus as the cause for their un precise missile strikes.

I'm un-impressed. They should have used an N64 controller, where's the class. Oh, wait. They're terrorists, they have no class.

Hope that that ied failed.

This has always annoyed me. Some people would push to ban fertilizer if you told them it could be used to make a bomb.
lol its so easy t0o 1 lb fertilizer (nitrogen based) 1 US. Gallon Diesel fuel

Really? I don't see it. Why don't you tell this to someone who's been to Iraq or Afghanistan. I'm sure they won't think it's too funny.
