I talk in my sleep....alot.

I often wake myself up middle of night. And when my brother visits, I wake him up by suddenly sitting up in bed and shouting something aswell.

And not nightmare shouting....but shouting too warn people in video games. >.>

I've woken several times by shouting out "there's a spitter" or "sniper up on the ledge, be careful" too in my dreams, steam friends.

I never talk in-game, pretty shy when it comes to talking too other people, but I sure like too talk too them when I sleep. =/

I'm not alone though, my brother is also a talker in sleep. Our parents actually filmed it, me and my brother having a discussion in sleep. >.<

I was a avid sleep walker aswell when I was younger, I often woke on strange places, kitchen table, under the livingroom table. Not super weird places, but everything that's not the bed I went too sleep in is weird. xD

As far as I know I've never sleep talked or sleep walked, though there was one night I woke up to find that somehow my head had ended up at the foot of the bed so how that happened....but I do know that I can hold an entire conversation with someone while still half-asleep, fall back to sleep, and wake up to no memory of it. That's gotten me into trouble.

I know that I personally have talked in my sleep before, but I have to be having an INCREDIBLY vivid dream for this to happen (which is rare, I don't have vivid dreams very often).

Really, the sleep-talking happens to my sister and my mother ALOT. My sister has fallen asleep on my bed while I'm on the internet, and I've actually had whole conversations with her while she was asleep. It's actually kind of impressive.

My mom, on the other hand, only sleep talks when she's having a nightmare... and then, she usually starts moaning like a ghost because she's so scared of the dream.

My sister has said the following two things while sleep-talking:

"Please pass the mustard."

and

"Why are there all these strange people here?"

It sounded like they were connected somehow.

I don't believe I have ever done it, but I have been woken up by July girlfriend doing it. It is always weird. She will be having a conversation, but without real words. Like there is intent and tone changes as she is mumbling along in her sleep. It is always hilarious.

Have you ever had any experiences with someone that talks in their sleep?
Just about everyone sleep talks. Maybe not always, but yea, we all do. Ive heard family tons of times and a bunch of friends. I think its just a sign of heavy dreaming and some of it leaking through into the real world.

I do occasionally. Once when my uncle came in to say good night to me & my cousin the sleeping me called him a wanker. Another odd quirk I have is that my left eye opens again so that only the white shows. Tends to freak people out if they haven't seen it before. It's part of the reason that I was thought to be dead after a New Year's party a few years ago.

once my sister woke me up by saying " The bodies are in the basement"
Needless to say, i didn't sleep again, nervously watching her for any signs of serial killer syndrome

I discovered during a recent stay in the hospital that, if texted during a dream, I'll just start talking to the person who texted me like they're in the dream.

This has led to my boyfriend trying to catch me having Pony dreams so he can...I'm not sure. Tease me about it, probably.

My grandfather spoke in his sleep all the time. Was pretty intresting to listen to.
As for myself... I snore like crazy and kick/punch stuff during night. Sometimes I've woken up in a mad rage, attacking and biting my pillow. Not just like a love bite either, but "teeth almost breaking"-bite. Other times I've woken up when I punched the wall with extreme force and shouting something. Last time I yelled out "IT'S MY BOX!".

There's gotta be something wrong with me.

Just asking my boyfriend about this, he tells me I sleep talk all the time. Sometimes I wake up halfway through so I sorta remember.
Some stuff I've done:
"Susie, I want Susie, I want to cuddle Susie!" The name of my Hello kitty teddy. Boyfriend had to wake up and look for her without turning on the lights, gave me her so I cuddled her and went back to sleep.
"I need a cuddle." Boyfriend goes to cuddle me. "Not you, knobhead."
"Americans use the dollar don't they?" Boyfriend confirms this. "Yeah, I hate Americans."
"Emilee?" Boyfriend confirms this is my name. "Cool." Cuddles him and he tells me to go back to sleep.
There's been much more, but both of us can't remember right now.

Apparently but I can't remember most of what I've been told.

Latest one was I woke up my girlfriend by asking very loudly where the cocaine was, then having an asleep tantrum when she told me she didn't know.

I sleep in my friends bed when I go over their for the weekend. He was mumbling stuff and out of nowhere asked for head in his sleep. I was scared to say the least.
Another time with the same person he was asleep and I was just lying their when he sat up and screamed without waking up. He didn't remember doing it at all though.

I don't think there's any way for a person to know if they sleep talk but I remember my older brother used to sleep talk quite loudly, usually about chatting up girls I think. If I was awake watching a film or something in my room I'd hear "Hey, how you doing?" from down the hall. Pretty funny I thought

my boyfriend will talk to me in his sleep. this is very aggravating because it means i can't check if he's awake. one time he asked me to wake him at a certain time, and when i tried to wake him, he told me to wait until another time, claiming he was awake. this happened once more, then like, another 30 minutes late he wakes on his own and comes out to gripe at me for not getting him up! he DID claim later that he never sits up in his sleep. so now whenever i need to wake him, i have to forcibly sit him up until he wakes... consequently, it means i don't have a snooze button...

Ii do it quite a bit. My sister will encourage me if I do start, trying to get info out of me so she can slag me the next day. Sometimes I'll have full on conversations with people but I am actually asleep and can't remember the convo the next day at..all..

I used to sleep walk as well but not anymore. once I tried to get into the dishwasher when I was sleeping, I pulled down the door and slid out the shelve and woke up with my foot in it..another time i took my sister's pillow from under her head when she was asleep (I was too obvi but sleep walking) and brought it down to the kitchen, put it in the sink and turned on the tap!

I once came back from labs one day to find two of my flatmates asleep in the kitchen, having a disjointed conversation about whether or not saurkraut is a condiment. I have weird friends.

Apparently I count down in my sleep. In my job I have to count down Anchors before we go to air. 5...4...3...2...1... CUE. Well now I do it in my sleep. Even when I'm at home I'm still at work.
