I think a tattoo would be nice, something that has value, for example, my favorite football team logo, a great band logo, or a nicely made gaming logo/art piece. either on chest or shoulder. Welcome, even if you already have 30+ posts and have only been here for like a few hours. Damn your fast -.-
Lol! Thanks :) I was really surprised that this thread has been looked at never mind people actually posting!

i'm thinking of getting a new tattoo. flames going up my legs...
Ooooh...! Fancy, would it be an addition to anything or just a new tat on it's own?
New, don't have any on my legs... yet. One of my mates has a full Batman sock and I was considering getting one of those with different superhero logos but the flames seem like the safer option, I dont really want to be an 80 year old man with superhero logos all over my leg.
I get where you're coming from. I love batman but the whole flame thing would be nice too. :) lol, it's not my tattoo and I'm excited!
lol. The only thing putting me off tho is shaving my leg. It was bad enough shaving my chest, you can't even see my current tattoo because the hair grew back 10 times thicker.
Aww :(... Well, on the bright side... YOU ARE A MANLY MAN! :p
lol, a skint manly man tho, paying a fortune for a tat that nobody will be able to see... I suppose I could wax but that would be kind of a contradiction to the manly man thing.
WEll, you could be METROSEXUAL MAN! It's all the rage with the young kids lol :p

I am not a fan of piercings but love tattoos. I have a huge tribal Phoenix on the top of my back that goes from shoulder to shoulder, on my left shoulder I have a huge tribal pattern and on my right shoulder I have my military tattoo.
I have always wanted more but I will only have them if they can be concealed whilst wearing a t-shirt so the chest may be the next spot for one but what I have no clue as of yet.

Well especially the tattoo threads are pretty often looked and posted often at, even if they have been done some times, regularly appearing thread that is.
People at the escapist are pretty good at posting, you'll notice, and if there is no discussion value people will start throwing sarcastic comments all over the place and then everybody has fun trying to figure out what everyone means ^^.
Out of interest, I had been active watching videos before I joined this site with an account. Did you find it just recently or have you been following, Bob, Yahtzee or something else for a while already? (a thread was made about how people found the escapist and 95% answered Bob or yahtzee so that's why i choose them)

Welcome to the Escapist! Honestly I am not a fan of tongue, lip or any irregular piercings. If I were to get one, which I will not, it would be an ear piercing. As for tattoos, I do not really want one, seeing as it will look ridiculous when I am a saggy old fart. Plus I could regret it for the rest of my life. As you can see, I am not much of a body art guy. In my opinion, ear piercings are fine, and maybe one tattoo on like one's arm would be fine.

At some point I would like to get a tattoo though I've never settled on something cherished or meaningful enough that I know I wouldn't regret having it later on.

As for piercings, I think they look good on some people.. but I'm not one of those people.

I've got quite a few tattoos:

I've got Jack Sparrow's swallow and sunset on my chest which was my first
I've got the crest of Hyrule on my left shoulderblade
And I've got a full colour half sleeve on my left arm of a pirate ship in a storm with lightning, japanese-style waves, a message in a bottle, island with palm tree, the sun rising in the background and a shark

I'm getting my half sleeve extended into a 3/4 sleeve at some point and I'm getting my left side/ribs done on sept 8th. It's gonna be a mysterious woman licking blood from her fingers, surrounded by flames and an american diner. It's inspired from the Gaslight Anthem lyrics 'And they burned up the diner where I always used to find her licking young boys' blood from her claws'

EDIT: Welcome to The Escapist, btw!

true...lmao. It is stupid tho, my legs are the only place I have left to get tattoos. My arms are off limits because I want to join the police and it is pointless getting one on my back, I won't be able to see it.
