Now, I love tattoos, and will probably always love them. In fact, I have like around 10 planned. I know that might seem kinda drastic, but I've been thinking about my ideas for the past 3 years, because I didn't want some spur of the moment crap that I would have get covered down the line or possibly removed. I want my tattoos to be something I will still enjoy having 10-20 years down the line. If it turns out I don't like them later on, I won't remove them. I will keep them, because in my opinion they let others look into your past. I, for one, don't plan on hiding my choices today from everyone tomorrow. I'm well aware that tattoos are not for everyone, but who says they have to be? I don't believe anything has to be universally accepted. There will always be those who think differently. And as far as the notion of the appearance of my tattoos when I'm 80 goes, I'm not going to worry about my physical appearance at that age.
With that said, keep in mind that I haven't gotten any of my tattoos yet. Financially speaking, it isn't the smart thing to do at the moment. I have to wait until I'm back home in the US and have a job.
